I wonder if its because of the off limits period. Or the price of gas to go to clearlake. Never the less thats what us Nor Cal guys went through to fish the first one.

The primary duty of the Volunteer Tournament Officials (VTOs) is to see to it that their respective Anglers do not violate any of the rules while competing in HBC events.

VTOs will receive no monetary compensation for their participation; however each VTO will be given a complimentary tackle pack containing products donated by event sponsors, including Huddleston Deluxe and Roboworm.

VTOs are requested to film their respective Anglers during the tournament. Special prizes will be awarded to the VTOs that shoot the most footage during the event.

VTOs are not permitted to assist their respective anglers IN ANY MANNER (except medical emergencies). This includes netting fish.

VTOs are not permitted to bring portable or hand-held GPS devices on-board.

VTOs must be 18 years of age or older.

Please check out the rules on the HBC website for more information: http://www.heavyweightbassclassic.com/

You know, we always called each other goodfellas. Like, you'd say to somebody: "You're gonna like this guy; he's all right. He's a goodfella. He's one of us." You understand? We were goodfellas, wiseguys.
