Open backseat for fun tournament on Clearlake Saturday!

This is a no entry fee, no payback, braggin rights and plaques tournament in memory of Al Freitas (2nd annual) with a barbeque and B.S. Session following the weigh in. My fishing parnter just found out that he has to work.
I will be leaving Roseville at 3:30am and coming home after the BBQ. All I ask is that you split the fuel for the day. I estimate that will be about $125 or about $62 bucks each. (Foods taken care of)

Well no one took me up on my offer so I fished by myself today. It would have been nice to share the win with somebody but it was kind of nice to have the boat to myself and Kim can save the other First place plaque for next year!
There was a 3 fish limit for this one and I ended up with 15.49 (two 6-1/2's and a 2-1/2) It would have been nice to have a net man though because I broke off one over 5 while trying to flip it over a dock and into the boat.....
It was a great day, barely saw the future pro guys. It actually seemed pretty quiet on the lake today....

Thanks guys. Those two fish were definitely healthy, they both took me about 10 minutes to get in the boat because I had them hooked on fairly light line. They both ran to deep open water and didn't want to come up. I can't remember the last time it took me 10 minutes to land a bass.....

Well, you know if I was in the area I would have been there. FL is HOTTTTTTT!!!! Gators seem to love swimbaits (almost caught one Sat Nite).
