Building is almost done and the site work is not far behind...Early fall for sure. The rest of the pavillion is coming along fine also. All the companies (hotel included) have stayed in the project which is a good thing being tough economic times.

Just drove by today, They have the glass in and it really is getting near interior work. the promenade mall is huge as well. 2 more firehouses and a 1/2 million dollar ladder truck going in by 2009. The new costco is already enclosed and the interior work looks like it is getting going.

sounds like a few new decent places to go out and dine as well. manteca just hired a new city manager 196K per year. They got the guy from stockton where he has made many new improvements in the past. manteca is currently annexing 2500 acres of land for 5,889 more house as well as 4.3 million square feet of commercial and office space, as well as 12.5 million square feet for industrial buildings.

The before and after in 20 years is going to be head spinning. it is hard to believe what they have done in 12 years.

They are starting to interview for Pro Staff positions next month. Gotten from another site.....

As some of you are aware of from my previous announcement, we will be opening a Bass Pro Shops in Manteca, tentatively on October 15th of this year. We are currently looking to fill 5 Pro Staff positions for this store. Bass Pro Shops will be filling 3 fishing positions and 2 hunting positions.

The position will require the Staffer to display, demo and give seminars on specified product during different events held at the store. These events will take place at different times of the year and may fall on hunt days or during fishing tournaments. So keep this in mind if interested in the position. Pro Staff may also be asked to appear at events away from the store also.

If you are interested in the position and would like more details, please feel free to email me with questions, at leleidelmeyer@baspro.com. Interviews are tentaively set to be held the week of July 21st in Manteca.

Spelling error?

Regarding the above post, possible spelling error in there.
All of the e-mails for my contacts within that organization end in @basspro.com
instead of the shown @baspro.com
Hopefully this will prevent some confusion.
