does the spool for the 100dsv fit the 100d (are they interchangable)?

would the extra weight of the spool+line diminish casting distance?
if yes, by how much?

i love the way this reel fits my hand, but i notice i can almost spool out on a long cast with 12lb test.

The spools are interchangeable. The spool is not as light but you should be able to make the same length cast.

Call Fisherman's Warehouse and ask if they have one in stock. If they don't they can order it for you.
