Just got back from my first trip there, WOW! Best 6 days of my fishing life, bar none. Caught fish everywhere, dropshot/cranks/flipping. On the second day, worked the bay between 'long tule point' and Holiday Cove with frogs. Threw em in the sparse tullies and up on the mats, as soon as we would clear the mats, FISH ON! Four straight days hit that spot with fish to 8.03, seemed to be an endless supply. Bite would slow at 8 am and would go the the tullies and flip creature baits and frogs to the edge of the thickest pockets. I now love my white and the chart Swamp Donkeys!! Long live Clear Lake, makes it tough to come back to my Central Coast lakes.

i was headin to shasta today for a week. Finally got all the loose ends and obligations taken care of, then. got an ear infection so i have to wait till tomorrow.

...you guys got me all worked up now! I'm heading up to Clear Lake on Wednesday for four days of "fun fishing" (no pre-fishing, no tournaments, etc. etc). I won't be able to sleep tonight or tomorrow night just thinking about that frog bite! I'm All In!!!

We're going up Thursday A.M. for a couple days to "break in" the new boat. We'll be at the Konocti Vista - Home of the Western Rally! So who all's going and where's everyone staying???

I would love to come on over and play at Clear Lake again...but got a serious case of fundzrlow. If'n sumone wants to cover the gas, I'd be happy to take 'em out

Say goodbuy to the skin on your thumbs. Two weeks on that lake right now may put you in the hospital with warn out thumbs. It not as good as last year was, but still pretty good (40-60 fish a day). With them feeding on shad their teeth are very sharp.

You know the one... FUNDZRLOW. If not treated immediately it typically leads to a secondary infection of NOFUNDUN
