Should I or should I not

I'm going to Clear Lake as a VTO for the HBC.

My wife,who is going to,asked if I was bringing the boat.I never even thought about that but it sounded good to me.But man haul it all the way up there from Salinas just for two day's sound's expensive.

My question is I am staying at KVC is that place safe to leave it out at night???

I know when I get there and dont have a boat I will regret it.....talk me into it

I have never had a problem there. They have about 60 boat slips you can keep your boat in the water also. I usely stay in the camp sites next to the casino.Put a cover on it, lock it up, and keep the keys, you should be fine.

They seem to have a decent security system there.

The slips have power as well.

My wife is going too and we plan to do some night fishing after the tourney

. I did not have any problem last time there. Oh, but all of my stuff goes to the room with me

Im taking mine and fishing the next day. I think it will be ok. Ill put the cover on it and keep one eye open,lol.

Of all the places at ClearLake, where we've either heard of or experienced problems with theft and vandalism, Konocti Vista seems ta be the one place up there that these trouble makers tend to avoid or rear their ugly tacticts.

Hey Mike!
When I was up there last year there were security people walking around at night.
Ya might call up there and see if they still do that.
Have a good, safe, fun trip.
Good to bring yer valuables inside at night tho,(ya never know).
