Thanks to Will at Mend-It

Post by MartinD »

My bottle of Mend-It that I bought at the Bass-A-Thon last year gelled up on me and I called Will to see if there was a quick way to fix it. He said give me your address and today I received a brand new bottle of Mend-It with the new bottle. That goes to show you that there are still good company's out there standing behind their product No Matter What.

Thanks again to Will & Mend-It,

Martin DeHaven

Mend-it is the best soft plastic "glue" on the market. It was first released in bottles that "breathed" and allowed the amazing product to evaporate. Mend-it is now packaged in new, evaporation proof bottles with an awesome applicator spout, see the current Tackle Tour article: http://www.tackletour.com/newsmendit6-05-08.html
Our goal is to offer the world's best product in the world's best container backed by the world's best customer service. If you have any questions about Mend-it call me toll free at: 866 606 2223 and I'll do what I can to help. Will

I have an unopened bottle of Mend-it still in the package that prolly 15% is left in it as a Jelly Belly.

I bought it last year ... I would not expect them to change it out for me as it was the old stuff under the old owner.

I am thinking of cutting it out of the bottle -- shaping it with a razor into a Jelly Bean .... Sugar coating in a Black Licorice - with the help of a Sharpie to match her personality ..... and sticking it in my MIL's Easter basket the next time she comes down. Now the knowlage that she would have pleasure/pain in passing that "bean" would be well worth $11.99.

Gawd -- I am such a Sinner at times ..... :?

Thanks Tom and Will -- Like I said ... It is over a year old and would never want to take advantage of someone elses mistake.

Seriously -- Will PM'ed me already -- and i will not give him my mailing addy as like I said .. IT IS A YEAR OLD already.

I have the new bottle with applicater -- Picked it up from The Hook 'round the corner .... Works Great !!

I tried it the night before last in repairing my wifes bike tire -- The Rubber part that goes around the rim protecting the tube from the spoke ends. It did not work for that -- but for everything else FISHING related on plastics -- It works like it sayes !! Image

(I ended up super gluing that band back togther and then melting it with a torch. 8) -- Now I gotta take the family to San Fran tommorow for a bike ride. :? )

Now-- if I can actually get my MIL to eat "da bean" ... or at least chew on it -- My mission would be accomplished with my old bottle of Mend-It. 8)

Thanks again Will for the offer -- But I am good for now. :D

I am another satisfied customer based on the customer service that Wil provided. I too got a new bottle no questions asked, he just said give me your address and a couple of days later...new

Now I just have to get out and fish and rip up some plastics so I can mend-it back together....

I am in the same boat as DeltaDan, My first bottle of mend it saved me a lot of money on my plastics like the senkos and especially on my swimbaits, more than what I paid for the bottle, I was not able to use it all up, as I had no more plastics to fix at the time. I felt I received my money's worth and do not feel the need to hit up Will or Tom for another bottle. I will definately just buy another one next time I am at Walton's Pond.
Great stuff, works way better than the 3 bottles of another product I bought a while back that I have to store in the refrigerator  (I think that stuff has dried up and hardened.) With all the great customer service, how can you not support a company like this....

I also contacted Will and let him know about the same issue that lots of people are having. He responded to me promptly and sent me a replacement bottle.

Thank you for you quick reponse. I appreciate it as I'm sure everyone else that you have helped does.

I have to say Thank You to Will. I contacted him last week regarding 2 bottles of the Original Mend It, Both of which had evaporated into jelley. After a short discussion about the product, he informed me that he would ship 2 bottles and I would have them by early this week. I came home from work today to find a package in the mail containing 2 New Bottles of Mend It.

I couldn't be more impressed by Will's commitment to his product, and Customer Service !!!!!!
