Want to get my 3 year old daughter on some bluegill. Anybody know where the bluegill are in Discovery Bay. Is the bite over or is it to early? Any suggestions on where to go and what to use.
Thanks

Re: Bluegill
I'm new to bass world, but when me and my friends want to have some fun with the dinks, we go to Dry Creek in Roseville. Get a creek pole and use a 1/16 rooster tail. I've cought both bluegill and bass out of there, nothing over one pound, but we walk the creek to spots that you can't get to unless you walk in the water about chest deep in some areas, you don't have to walk it if you don't want to its just fun for us. location by Oak Creek BMX track is always hot with those little fun guys. Also try up HY 80 toward reno just outside of Auburn, clipper gap and lake aurther, you can see them from the freeway. my son catches bluegill there and he is 2. have fun a take a camera
