As much as I would love to try a Dobyn's rod, there are none to be located where I live here in Canada.
I am going to upgrade my GL3 to either of the rods above.
I am looking at an IMX MBR 844 or the BCR 854.
Mind you...I do not have to fish tules like you do but mostly weeds, pads, and trees.
Aside from price...any other advice on making the choice? Is the GLX that much better than the IMX. As I understand, tthe Mossy Back is inbetween a GL3 and an IMX.

Re: IMX vs Mossy Back vs GLX
i use the bcr854 glx for my jig rod by far it is the best jig rod i have ever fished the unbreakable guides is also a very nice feature i can fish this rod with my chronarch 100b all day long very lite also i have broken this rod multiple time (my fault) and gloomis has never questioned me always replaced the rod

Great input!
I will be pairing the rods with Chronarch MG's. What line are you running on your jig rod?

Re: IMX vs Mossy Back vs GLX
My order of preference would be GLX by far, then IMX, then Mossy Back.
I use a GLX 844 for jigs, and fishing with full size Zippers and big worms. I also use somewhat light line(10-12 lb.).
