My buddy just moved to Lake Travis. He's 4 minutes from the ramp. I guess they have Guadalupe bass there...and they have teeth.

Hey Alex..

Good luck to you....Look up a Terry Barnson, I think he is in the Palistine area. He reps for Champion Boats, but he is a Vegas native that retired in Texas....he loves it!!! You will not miss Vegas or Mead...I am very jealous!! take care and keep in touch

You need to look up Andy C, aka Splash if you are going to fish
Conroe. He lives up there, and is a good stick. Lake Conroe is
has produced some nice double digit bass. Sam Rayburn is a good lake, and hosts LOTS of tournaments. One of our buddies was a guide on that lake for years, he fishes tournaments there on a regular basis.

Sam Rayburn is a regular tourney lake for BassChamps eastern
division. You can't go wrong with BassChamps, because they have
the best payback in the state, and maybe the nation. Ignition Bass
is another good tournament trail that you should check out in the
Conroe area.

Of course South Texas is the home of big bass! If ya ever want to fish Falcon, Amistad or Choke, look us up! I would definately recommend a trip to Falcon where the average fish caught is five
pounds, and hooking up with a double digit is COMMON!

At anyrate, welcome to Texas!

Thanks Lane, I was just going to say, if you're in the Conroe area give me a holler! I live 15 minutes from the boat ramp and been fishing Conroe for 20 something years and caught a couple of the double digits Lane is talking about. I also fish Rayburn and Toledo Bend 3 or 4 times a month usually. I know Lane likes south Texas but there's nothing like east Texas fishing! ( except Clear Lake in november)
Oh Well,maybe another day!!!

Hay my parents just moved to Conroe and live on the lake. I plan to visit in the fall and was looking for someone to go fishing with for bass. they are down by the dam (east side) longmire.

Doesn't matter if it's a guide or someone who wants a second person on the boat. let me know.
