One more Bush quote for the road

Post by FishaHallic »

"But all in all, it's been a fabulous year for Laura and me." —summing up his first year in office, three months after the 9/11 attacks, Washington, D.C., Dec. 20, 2001

Yep, you republicans know how to pick em. Why would this election be any different?

Yeah, thanks for giving us lame choices year after year. What I don't understand is the Democrats?? I mean who is all fired up about John Kerry  Al Gore  Bill Clinton (well he got elected because W Sr. was a lame brain, then re-elected because Dole was lame), Michael Dukakis  Walter Mondale  and the worst President ever, Jimmy Carter  Where is your JFK??

Now we have Obama vs McCain?? All the best and brightest minds in America and we have these 2??
Don't be lame. It's just fishing; you are not the new mesiah you know! Check your attitude at the door Mr. Spinners on da boat trailer.

I made the mistake of speaking of JK's experience pre the 2004 elections. Someone challenged me to find one major legislative piece he'd sponsored in 20 years. I thought this will be easy on google. Good God, the man had been there for twenty years and the best thing I could find was he'd given historical status to a bunch of condemned buildings.

Why can't we get real candidates. They are throwing idiots and front men at us as candidates.
