The NL west will be won by a team that has the easiest schedule. Whomever has less travel, and plays the easier interleague schedule will ultimately win the right to be beaten by the Cubs...who will ultimately win the right to get beaten by the American league Champion LA Angels in the world series...unless the Rays keep playing Halo baseball and beat the rest of the AL..

This is the year the Cubs will win the NL Pennant

Yes it would. A Cubs/Angels series would be great. Although I would get great satisfaction watching the Cubs beat the Red Sox :) I'm still rootin for the Halos :)

We picked up Rich Harden yesterday. YEAH! wait... that dudes arm is gonna fall off. NOOOO!. I really hope the Cubs win it all this year. I've been a cubs fan since day 1 and was born on the northside of chi town. They have a strong offense and now 2 legit aces. If all goes well I see them going to the big show baby. Last time they made an appearance was 1945.

The Angels offense need to start coming around, and it will. But there pitching is dominating teams. Halos to win it all.

Go Angels!!!

we need some serious offense to make it all the way in my opinion. Our pitching will be fine but can our hitters match up with post season pitching? We need another big stick big time.. Id love to see them pick up a good bat before july 31 trade deadline

You guys need a legit homerun threat like that neaderthal Adam Dunn . How good would he look batting behind Vlad. Found this on MLBTR.com

Yeah Dunne always hits bombs agaist the cubs. Great power but no agility in left field, he looks like a hippo doin ballet out there. Might be a good DH though.

Angels have one of the biggest HR threats in the game....

Vlad, hes coming around, and its good to see Figgins back from his injury. Willits is getting no play time when he was great last year. Matthews, and Hunter have respectable numbers, but their BA is down. If these few start earning their money we will go all the way..
