Great job Mr. (HBC-2 King) Bailey... another killer accomplishment for your resume!

I'm just wondering if Ken was able to cinch up the belt enough for you??? It seemed to fit Don pretty good in January, so I think it will be a little loose on you!

Seriously though, congratulations again buddy!!!

Also, great job to Jerry B. for 3rd, and to Dave and Butch for top-10 finishes!!!

Way to go Shaun! I was lucky enough to be in his boat at Casitas for HBC-1 so I'm not surprised he could find a big one at Clear Lake.

Shaun, Congrats from me again, the former Champ, and it was great that I was able to be in your video that little Bailey shot on the dock with both of our belts. You do know that Ken is not making another belt, so its only fitting one is here in Nor Cal and the other is in So cal. You are a class act and I will see you at Amastad

Why do you guys always make it norcal vs. socal? Who cares where you're from when you're cathin giant bass! Trophy hunters should be labeled as trophy hunters, not norcal or socal. This is why norcal guys dont like socal guys. Why cant we just be Cali? Not trying to step on any toes, trying to bring fisherman together. Socal, Norcal, or NO cal, it doesn't matter to me as long as you have a good head on your shoulder and have respect for the best sport on earth. I would hate to go to socal and be looked at differently just because i'm from up north. And I would hate for a Socal guy to come up here and be scrutinized because is from down south. Life's short guys, have fun while you can. Make friends not enemies.

Congrats again Shaun, you are a true trophy hunter and you proved it yesterday. Cant make it to Amistad but I wish you luck!

Go Cali

I was lucky enough to draw Shaun for this event.

What an experiance it was from the boat ride to the first spot to every cast he made.I was amazed at how much he went out of his way to try and teach me if you will and tell me excactly what he was doing.

He could have fished his spot longer but left becouse he knew I wanted to see a few other spot's becouse I brought my boat and was going to fish in the morning. And mind you these are deep water spot's that I will never tell a sole where they are.

This young man is headed to the top I have no doubt in my mind.I cant wait until he take's his style(BIG)to the rest of the Country.

And a very well ran event. If you have a chance to enter as a VTO do it you may draw Shaun.

Thank you

Mike
