Re: Snag Proof winning weight???????
Well if the top dog goes out and does it again it WILL BE 42 lbs! Amazing huh? Also highly unlikely, as was his first 21 if you ask me.g-man wrote:thats a 7lb average, no way with frogs only!greg_fina wrote:isn't 3 fish 2 days? I put the weight 42lbs.

Grenaded my lower unit 5 minutes into the tourney and put it back on the trailer. Very disappointing.
Loose focus for a sec on the river and it will bite you.

Saw that a rod had line running out the back, turned my head to yell at my partner and ended up running to shallow in Old River. It had to have been rock because the unit was tore open like a tuna can and the prop was in a ball.
It's already over at Boatmasters and the auditor will be in this week to get me back on the water next weekend.
Looks like Allstate is treating me well so far... we'll see.

Re: Snag Proof winning weight???????
Sorry to read that Rick.
I found a rock pile out in the main channel that I've motored over on plane a bunch of times. Luckily I was idling and just scratched two blades. I'm surprised this spot isn't marked, on low tide it's out of the water. It's got 15' of water all around it. Going to throw some jigs on it next time out there
.
Nice job Brian!
