Donate used plastic

Im just getting into making some plastic baits and im running really low on plastic and all i do are remelts and ima try and carve some to make a custom ones... and i post this just asking if anyone has any used torn up plastic that even Mend-it couldnt fix id gladly take it off your hands and its better than throwing it away you'll give me hours of fun well if anyone is interested shoot me a PM and ill give you my mailing address

Do you care what color the plastic is?

nope i change the colors by adding dipping dye when its hot and it takes that color very well

Don't you need a specific type of plastic? I did not think you could melt down just any old plastic bait, doesn't the difference in density, salt content, etc make things a little difficult.

nope dan never had a problem and ive mixed some plastics that are really soft but tear easy and mixed it with just a little of the tougher plastic and it makes it a bit stronger but to less soft

What are you melting the old plastics in? Will a microwave work? I have one I'm about to get rid of that still works, I'll keep it if I can use it for that.
