Very rarely (although I noticed that you posted several since I pointed this out). Actually, I don't see anything wrong with coming here just for the political forum. The topic of this string is "Harvey ain't here for the fishin". I was merely pointing out that there are others that come here for this forum, why single out Harvey?

I didn't see what was posted but its pretty obvious what it was about. Obama offers nothing but words... Change and Hope. Where is his plan for change and hope? The only thing he has to offer is higher taxes, more handouts, and more illegals.

Don't flatter yourself, I post on the fishing forum when I have questions, answers or something to add, not when I am questioned about my posting pattern.

The troll post his, what you would call good post but what others with knowledge would call lies and then does not respond to his own post. I’m on Vacation right now in Colorado (just weeks before the Democratic National Convention) and the family is off to the moves and I down in the hotel internet room.

Your rhetoric comes straight off Moveon.org (yes I read it – one must know his adversary as Sun Tzu said in “The Art of War). You three get your same information as anyone else does by reading others writings – in fact I really don’t believe you three have an original idea on politics. Each of you preaches the straight line of World Socialist Movement - social liberalism.

I have ask the three of you why you’re going to vote for Obama and not one of you have come on here to state your reasons – I’m assuming is that you really don’t know nothing about him.

Don’t feel bad about that because there are a lot of others that don’t know either. Obama first drew national attention in 2004, when he stepped onto the stage by addressing the Democratic National Convention that nominated Kerry for the presidency. That was only 4 years ago and now he is running for President of the United States of America. He was sworn into the U.S. Senate only three year ago and you three know everything about Obama to say that Harvey is a liar and not to read the articles he is posting.

Actually I have never been to Moveon.org or any other democratic, liberal, republican or right wing site. If you have any intelligence at all you can see what is happening in this country, I don't need anyone to tell me because I can see it. I have said this before and that is I am a news hound. Typical rhetoric. Lets be real shall we? Obama and McCain are so close in their ideology it is nearly impossible to distinguish the difference between the two. Given a real choice I wouldn't take either of these guys for all the tea in China, neither offers this country ANY hope of change for the better.

I've already stated before that I will vote for McCain, and I haven't flip-flopped (what a Bushism statement, huh?) I am not thrilled with the prospect of doing so, but unleashing the democratic multitudes on Washington D.C. is something I like even less.

I have to laugh at most of what is being said, mainly because I think most of you have been duped into believing in a "single" party. For me there is no single party that I can throw my hat into the ring with, so I'm forced to cherry pick my way through most elections, deciding for myself who I think is best for the job.

You have seemed to categorize me, I guess it's becuase I call them how I see them, if I don't believe it's true I'll say so, it doesn't necessarily mean I'm for that person or not, false is false it doesn't matter if it came from a republican or a democrat.

The truth as I see it is the republican admistration in office has been abismal at the very best, in nearly every single category. Bush has failed, and most people I talk to want anything other than 4 more years of the same, that is why Obama is so popular, it isn't because he is so brilliant, not being an idiot is good enough for most right now.

You go ahead and eat, sleep, breath your party line, be the good little puppet on a string they want. I choose to think for myself and be a responsible citizen for my country, not some party who is completely out of step.

In a previous post one of the lefist bench warmers criticized me for not defending my posts or some such. I learned many years ago when faced with the pushing ranting and insults of people like "fishafool" or the "cornish game hen", young divorce lawyers, hairdressers and others others of (shall we say) " alternative lifestyle" there is only one way to deal with them; ya just "bitch slap 'em" a couple of times and they will scurry back to their holes and later return with a white flag. Also you will notice that the insults all come from two people who apparantly know very little about what they try to impress each other with. It is this mind set that is ramapant among the liberal elite and their sleaze corps of followers. But not to worry - we will prevail in November. By the way you said you were Regular Army (RA) - enlisted too, like being an officer is a bad thing. Did you get Drafted (US) or did you enlist – the reason is if you were drafted you were not RA but US, not unless you came in as National Guard or Reveres (during Vietnam NG and Reserves only did 6 months active time). If you don’t remember look at your dog tags.

I said enlisted too for those who didn't know RA was regular army. I enlisted in March of 1966 and got out in December of 1968 on an "Early out" because of an excess of soldiers.
