Yeah and that doesn't even include the racist joke post that was removed.
What's wrong Harvey, don't you like black folks?

Fish, I reply when I can... sorry if its not quick enough for you. You probably have no concept of work, but some of us must do it occasionally if we are to eat.
What you do is call names like "troll" and post pictures of Hitler. You liberals are all about "diversity" and "acceptance", as long as everyone thinks the same as you.
I believe it was the great warrior poet, Charles Barkley, that said " Poor people have been voting democrat for 50 years, and they're still poor". Think about that!
Very rarely (although I noticed that you posted several since I pointed this out). Actually, I don't see anything wrong with coming here just for the political forum. The topic of this string is "Harvey ain't here for the fishin". I was merely pointing out that there are others that come here for this forum, why single out Harvey?I also post under the fishing forum
What are you talking about? I rarely post anything but my own thoughts. If Harvey wants to start some conversation with an article that interests him... whats it to you? If you don't agree then post a reply. If you don't like his posts then don't read them.I also post my thoughts and not some bozos

I didn't see what was posted but its pretty obvious what it was about. Obama offers nothing but words... Change and Hope. Where is his plan for change and hope? The only thing he has to offer is higher taxes, more handouts, and more illegals.Yeah and that doesn't even include the racist joke post that was removed.

Don't flatter yourself, I post on the fishing forum when I have questions, answers or something to add, not when I am questioned about my posting pattern.although I noticed that you posted several since I pointed this out)
It's nothing to me, but he is still a troll that is a "Bold Faced Liar". The troll post his, what you would call good post but what others with knowledge would call lies and then does not respond to his own post. The next day or so (or whenever he gets another email from his small list of friends) he will post another LIE or half truth and not respond to that one. Re: Harvey ain't here for the fishin ;-)
I’m on Vacation right now in Colorado (just weeks before the Democratic National Convention) and the family is off to the moves and I down in the hotel internet room.
The three of you (Greg, Jeff, and Dave a.k. FishaHallic) are attack mice, I would use dogs but dogs are not scared to do it in the day time – you three only can do it at night like minces (hide behind your screen) – a metaphor.
Your rhetoric comes straight off Moveon.org (yes I read it – one must know his adversary as Sun Tzu said in “The Art of War). You three get your same information as anyone else does by reading others writings – in fact I really don’t believe you three have an original idea on politics. Each of you preaches the straight line of World Socialist Movement - social liberalism.
I have ask the three of you why you’re going to vote for Obama and not one of you have come on here to state your reasons – I’m assuming is that you really don’t know nothing about him.
Don’t feel bad about that because there are a lot of others that don’t know either. Obama first drew national attention in 2004, when he stepped onto the stage by addressing the Democratic National Convention that nominated Kerry for the presidency. That was only 4 years ago and now he is running for President of the United States of America. He was sworn into the U.S. Senate only three year ago and you three know everything about Obama to say that Harvey is a liar and not to read the articles he is posting.
Harvey has come on here and stated his reason, more then you three have!

Why should anyone else believe you three liberals? Oops, you liberals like to be called “Progressiveâ€

Re: Harvey ain't here for the fishin ;-)
Actually I have never been to Moveon.org or any other democratic, liberal, republican or right wing site. If you have any intelligence at all you can see what is happening in this country, I don't need anyone to tell me because I can see it. I have said this before and that is I am a news hound. Yep I even watch Fox, I am smart enough to pick up things from all the news stations, magazines and papers and form my own opinion. This is why you will rarely if ever see me post others opnion, because I am smart enough to form my own, you just don't happen to like it.
As far as telling you why I like Obama I already did. He is not George Bush, a republican or a conservative and you can't say that about McCain can you? Do I agree with everything he stands for, probably not, but I will take my chances with him over another 4 years of George Bush policies that we would get with McCain.
Now Getalife just today insinuated that I do not have a job and that is why I post during the day and now you Marty said I post at night to hide behind the screen like a little mouse? I thought you two formed a BFF club and if you did I wish you would communicate with each other and figure out which way you are forming your attacks.

Are you finally admitting that you lack intelligence? If you have any intelligence at all you can see what is happening in this country, I don't need anyone to tell me because I can see it.
That is so lame. Tell me what, specifically, you think Obama will do for this country. You can't and neither can Greg or Dan or Jeff because Obama is not a man of substance. His recent flip-flopping on offshore drilling and opening up the oil reserves shows his lack of conviction. He reminds me of a slick used car salesman. As far as telling you why I like Obama I already did. He is not George Bush, a republican or a conservative and you can't say that about McCain can you?

Typical rhetoric. Lets be real shall we? Obama and McCain are so close in their ideology it is nearly impossible to distinguish the difference between the two. Given a real choice I wouldn't take either of these guys for all the tea in China, neither offers this country ANY hope of change for the better.
I've already stated before that I will vote for McCain, and I haven't flip-flopped (what a Bushism statement, huh?) I am not thrilled with the prospect of doing so, but unleashing the democratic multitudes on Washington D.C. is something I like even less.
I have to laugh at most of what is being said, mainly because I think most of you have been duped into believing in a "single" party. For me there is no single party that I can throw my hat into the ring with, so I'm forced to cherry pick my way through most elections, deciding for myself who I think is best for the job.
You have seemed to categorize me, I guess it's becuase I call them how I see them, if I don't believe it's true I'll say so, it doesn't necessarily mean I'm for that person or not, false is false it doesn't matter if it came from a republican or a democrat.
The truth as I see it is the republican admistration in office has been abismal at the very best, in nearly every single category. Bush has failed, and most people I talk to want anything other than 4 more years of the same, that is why Obama is so popular, it isn't because he is so brilliant, not being an idiot is good enough for most right now.
You go ahead and eat, sleep, breath your party line, be the good little puppet on a string they want. I choose to think for myself and be a responsible citizen for my country, not some party who is completely out of step.

I think I referenced one article from there I found on google. I've never visited that site. I don't listen to talk radio much at all either.Marty wrote:Your rhetoric comes straight off Moveon.org

I snuck in the computer room while the family is eating lunch then we are off to Pikes Peak and then Garden of the Gods.
Dan – I did not include you – you already stated you are an Independent and since then I have been listening to Lou Dobbs and the Independent Nation and I must say I agree with a lot of what he states. I also agree with your statement.
Greg,
No I don’t believe in a one party system, if fact I believe there should be more than just two parties with equal access to the public (equal). And yes I do use Liberal as a bad word. Why do you think they want to now be called Progressive?
Side Note: Was driving to work one day and this guys cuts me off on 680 and I just smiled – then this dude show me the middle finger. When the traffic comes to a complete stop this dude is right next to me on my left side. He rolls the window down and states to me “you have something to say?â€

Fishahallic – you’re going to vote on personality to run this country! Just like that Political AD by Juan McCain showing celebrities Paris Hilton and Britney Spears. That dirty old man.Typical rhetoric. Let’s be real shall we? Obama and McCain are so close in their ideology it is nearly impossible to distinguish the difference between the two. Marty;
In a previous post one of the lefist bench warmers criticized me for not defending my posts or some such. I learned many years ago when faced with the pushing ranting and insults of people like "fishafool" or the "cornish game hen", young divorce lawyers, hairdressers and others others of (shall we say) " alternative lifestyle" there is only one way to deal with them; ya just "bitch slap 'em" a couple of times and they will scurry back to their holes and later return with a white flag. Also you will notice that the insults all come from two people who apparantly know very little about what they try to impress each other with. It is this mind set that is ramapant among the liberal elite and their sleaze corps of followers. But not to worry - we will prevail in November. Might have to do more bitch slapping between now and then...but we will get the job done.

I said enlisted too for those who didn't know RA was regular army. I enlisted in March of 1966 and got out in December of 1968 on an "Early out" because of an excess of soldiers.Marty wrote:By the way you said you were Regular Army (RA) - enlisted too, like being an officer is a bad thing. Did you get Drafted (US) or did you enlist – the reason is if you were drafted you were not RA but US, not unless you came in as National Guard or Reveres (during Vietnam NG and Reserves only did 6 months active time).
