Night time Pond Fishin'

Post by badbass25 »

I am heading to a pond with my sister's boyfriend tonight and is on his parent's property. They only throw plastics (from what I understand) and I was gonna bring some different baits to show them and try out. They are wanting to go at dark, but I am gonna try to get them to go a little earlier. I have a couple of questions maybe some of you could answer for me.

I know there are bluegill in there, so I was gonna try a Matt's blugill, would my flippin' stick suffice so I don't have to bring an extra rod just for the swimbait?

Should I try a 6" slammer? But I only have light trout pattern it shouldn't matter right? A flippin' Stick would work for that too right?

I was thinking of bringing some jigs and showing them how to drop shot (they don't know how to yet). Any suggestions on what else I should bring?

I don't know how big the pond is, but seems to be of a decent size with some nice fish in it. I got these pictures off of his myspace page to show the veggies along the bank.

I am open to suggestions. Thanks

Slammer yes,

Buzzbait, Horny toad, Jitterbug Pop R, Frog, spinner bait.

Gotta love night time bassin - for plastics maybe a split shot brush hog or 10" Blk power worm.
- JaJa Jigs - Get THUNKED
