Re: line conditioner?
I use the "Reel Magic" on my flouro lines and the KVD on my braid. Both work great. The reel magic seems to make flouro much more limp and less prone to spool off.
Re: line conditioner?
does that stuff have any smell to it
Reel Magic
all the way.

Re: line conditioner?
I always use line conditioner on braid esp when im throwing a frog. I use the KVD brand but i swear i put it on some flouro and it made it brittle on my next trip. Maybe just a coinsident but i change my line regularly.

Re: line conditioner?
It'd be nice if it softened fluoro so I could use it on spinning reels.

Ditto on this statementI use the "Reel Magic" on my flouro lines and the KVD on my braid. Both work great. The reel magic seems to make flouro much more limp and less prone to spool off.

Re: line conditioner? FYI
FYI: Reel Magic is petroleum based. KVD is not.

The KVD stuff works great on flouro and braid.
Re: line conditioner? FYI
Been using this stuff for years: http://www.rz-50.com/ . It used to be called rd-50. It's a dry film lubricant. Amazing on mono and fluoro. I never spray braid however, but that's just me. I've never felt the need to. I use power-pro and it feels limp enough. This stuff makes mid grade lines handle and feel like expensive Japanese lines. No odor..No greasiness....Try it...you'll love it. 1 can will last you forever...

Re: line conditioner? FYI
"Reel Magic" advertises that it is for "monofilament & braided " lines and not for flouro. You guys say it works pretty good on flouro or is KVD's better on flouro?

The Extreme lubricants reel + is a great line conditioner. I use it on all my fluorocarbon, mono and braids.
