Wheel bearing size?

Post by SKIPER »

I need to replace a wheel bearing on a 1994 Champion trailer but do not know the size I need (didn't notice that the bearing buddy somehow fell off prior to launching).

I'm not sure, but I believe you measure the inside diameter. If that is in fact the case, what should it measure?

Call Jordan or Dan at Anglers Marine - that would be your quickest and most definitive way to find out for sure.

Bearings and their races have the # etched on them. Take it to a bearing supply house and get good ones. NOT made in CHINA!

Thanks for the info. Anglers said to remove bearings and take them in so they can examine them and give me the correct ones. I'll also check for the etching.

Always replace the races with the bearings as a set. I have to use a magnifing glass to see the #s
