Michelle Obama's Keynote

Post by Greg_Cornish »

I felt she did a wonderful job. Very good speaker. Had a little of the old evangelical preacher touch thrown in from time to time with the voice quaver though.

I think it would have been fun if she started off with, "For the very first time in my life..." then paused so they could film the expression on the crowds face, then added, "Aw I'm kidding."

I'd give her an A+ though. Did what she set out to do without any screw-ups.

Love to know the psychology of the speakers order. The old white haired white dude shortly before her, darn near put the crowd to sleep. I don't think anyone even stopped talking in the background.

The media love-fest makes me want to puke. Why would the NBC idiots cuddle up to ANY politician? Their responsibility is to remain objective and always question.

LOL, gee ask FOX I can't answer that question. You're getting kind of off topic huh?

Oh heck, I can answer that question. The good old fashion capitalistic media wants to make money at any cost and as we've seen, they'll step over their dying sister to get their dead mother's money. It wouldn't matter what political party will bring the most in.

Now could we get back to Michelle Obama's speech?

Wow she was the best looking First Lady I ever saw.

Agreed, they are all about ratings. Unfortunately, this is where most people turn for information.
Now could we get back to Michelle Obama's speech?
Pathetic attempt to make herself appear more patriotic and put her past comments behind her. The little quiver in her voice just doesn't give me the same warm feeling as it does you.
Wow she was the best looking First Lady I ever saw.
Not my type... not even remotely attractive to me. Now Cindy... thats another story.

One other thing... the kids. That fake "cuteness" also made me want to puke. Those kids well prep'd for that little display. Talk about prostituting your own kids!

I have to admit she did a good job last night – I wonder how long it took her to practice to hide her attitude.

I bet she had someone chanting that in her hidden earpiece.

Oh no, that was Bush being told what to say from back stage in the 2000 election. LOL that was so funny. I remember thinking, What the hell, does he have a hearing aid?

He didn't need it in the 2004 election. The Democrats found a bigger idiot than Bush.

But she's an attorney, probably very practiced for different situations.

Good lord did anyone hear the Lilly Ledbetter 1/2 hour bitching fest? I would have ruled her out. Man, she should get a job doing voices for Southpark, I swear.

Detla, what in the hell are you going on about here? Quote something so we know what your talking about please. I may even agree if I knew what your subject was.

You should really see a doctor. I'm not in the best of health but I can truly say that no kids have ever made me puke by their cuteness or lack of it. Not even the Bush Twins. Neither has a woman.

The only thing that ever made me puke beside a septic blood infection, flu or food poisoning was a guy that ate a live rat at the state fair freak show in Minnesota. The girl who could pop her eyes out of her head made me weak in the knees though.

I looked at the elephant man portrait, Joseph Merrick and he never made my feel anything but empathy with some sympathy.

Elephant man and Cute Kids ??? Some place here there is a message, but i just lost my breakfast over your posting of Corn Smut !!

What being said about them (media) stepping over their own dead to get ratings is Absolutely True !

Personalty, I think the whole circus of the Dem show is way over the top and just revolting, To see Hillary yakking about party unity, when in her heart she would just as well see flaming death to Obama.

Then they waddle ol Bill, "I dint have sex with that intern" out on stage!! But I did bomb the Serbs back into the stone age

Ol Teddy Bear, Chappaquiddick, comes rolling out and gets all feeling fuzzy and warm !!!

How Quick we forget !! and forgive ???? " I am not proud to be American" HMMMMMMM !!!!!

Hey I cant wait to see the Republics show !!! Some how they got to top it !!! Maybe they will bring Ronny back from the grave !!!

Her speech was an obvious attempt to try and reach out to the Middle American vote. How fake she was actually being was blatantly displayed for the whole world to see. If you don't agree with me, go back and look at any speech she's ever given. Her tone was completely rehearsed and tailored to try and make her seem more "down to earth". Like others have said, it sickened me. Nothing but a bunch of bs if you ask me. God forbid her inadequate husband becomes leader of the "free world."

And if you were giving the most important speech of your life you wouldn't rehearse and try to seem "down to earth?"
