New Ardent Culling System

Post by OutdoorProShop »

We saw these at Icast and thought they'd be very useful.

Tackle Tour seems to think so as well

That is a good idea. Unfortunately here at shasta they would all be set to 1.5, 1.5, 1.5, 1.5, 1.5. Ha Ha. :P If it had an additional spot for hundredths it might work!

Thats funny right there.

Glad I fish Clear Lake most of the time!

Hmmmmm here is a thought - use the left number for tenths and the right number for hundredths and you are good to go!

As Long as they are all in the 1 pound range you'll be fine.

Or just use 01, 02, 03 ,04, 05 to rank your fish and don't worry about the actual weight. Pretty cool idea, for those too lazy to use a color system.

Seems like alot of time would be spent weighing fish, twisting up the numbers and not fishing. I think Jerry might be onto something, be ashame to trow out a fish because the dial got turned!!

The balls feel like they will hold up very well. The cables are also very sturdy thick multistranded stainless cable with plastic sleeve over the top.

As for the numbers changing - unless the fish grow fingers its not going to happen. you have to push the button in the center of the ball and turn it to the number you want.

I don't have the balls to use those.
