Save The Date!

Post by tunaman »

October 18th... time for one last blow-out birthday/going away/just because party at the Nelson's!

Looks like that is about the only good date we have for a Saturday party, so that is it. We'll have a few birthdays to celebrate, and one last chance to get together down here with our friends for a hardcore BBQ party, so please plan to make it if you can!

I'll have more details as we get closer, but wanted to get the date out so folks can plan accordingly. Probably will start fairly early in the day (noon or so), and expect we'll continue well into the night (or morning!).

Hope to see you there!

Awesome! Mine is the 23rd.

I spoke with one friend earlier, and I guess the Tri-States championship is that weekend (sorry!), so I'll apologize now for the conflict and say I'll miss those of you who will be fishing the WON.

That date works for me, I will be coming off 13 days in a row and will need to party some. Heck I may even pull my boat up there and do DVL as well. I'm looking forward to it.

I'm thinking it will be my last time out on DVL for a while, so maybe a hang-over turkey shoot is in order? We've got room for several, as many know, so we'll work it out.

Roger,
My kid has soccer that day, so I won't be able to make it.
Good luck up there, and I'm sure I'll see you around.
Are you coming back down for the Bass-A-Thon?

Heck Mark... they don't play at night, do they???  Just jivin'.

Sorry you won't be able to make it - it's going to be a good one!

As for BAT, I'm sure hoping to make it back down, but we'll see whether I can get away or not, and whether I have any gas money left once we get everything moved.

She has games on both days. Gotta love AYSO. But the kid loves to play, and she is growing like a weed (2" in six months), so this is an important time for her. Plus, she's thirteen, so it's a drama a day right now. I'm just trying to be a constant in her life, and I'm an assistant coach, so, unless she's sick, I'm there.
I hope you can swing the BAT, but I understand about how much it costs to move. Maybe you can get a govt. bailout to fund your road trip!

Hehehe...

It's great that you're so involved with her growth... very heartwarming and commendable. Then again, I'd expect nothing less from you. :D
