Without trying to influence you one way or the other, at this point in time should the U.S. build more Nuclear Energy plants?

I am all for it and I also think they should open up Yucca Mountain and start moving in the waste.

Build them with a desalination plant next to them use the heat. The waste can be reprocessed. Now it is used once and then called waste. Only 10% is used and the 90% is poisoned. Reprocessing = recycling. The 10% is then sent to the salt mines.

The early reactors were changed because they Hydrogen gas, now that by product could be used as a source of fuel.
I don't know enough, to leave well enough alone.
