New Custom Baitsmith Colors - Check 'em out!

Post by OutdoorProShop »

Thanks Alex - as promised here are better pictures of #3 and #4 of the new colors! (1 and 2 are in the original post of this thread)

Check these beauties out! I'd like to keep them all to myself - but, if I did that I'd probably have to find a new job! :)

We have a very limited supply (20 of each sink rate each color) of them due in late this week or early next week. Get your orders in for these now!

Click here to buy or check them out!

can you guys tell me if these baits are made better than the originals. I threw one at Clear Lake for about a half hour and almost all the paint came off..It led me to believe that this is a lot of money for a bait that the paint comes off. Hope they have solved this problem.

These baits are made well. The original baits a few years back had some issues but, they keep improving on them (like every other business out there) and now they are pretty darn solid baits.

They are fish catchers that is for sure!

Update:
Baits are shipping to us today

We will ship them to anyone who has ordered them on Monday... Recieve them on Tuesday anywhere in California!

There are still a handfull of them left from the initial order. Next shipment due in a few weeks later.

We also updated the pictures to give you a better look at the colors. Unfortunately, pictures don't do the baits justice.

Have you had success with the new "fast" sink? Is there a better season or situation to use them in then the original. thanks

Truthfully, I personally finally bought a few slow sinks recently, so no I haven't personally had any success with them.

However, I know in the winter time when I want to swim the bait deeper, across ledges, over rock piles etc... I need the heavy to do that. In the past, I as well as several other Clear Lake regulars have weighted our original Baitsmiths with all sorts of methods in order to get them to run deeper.

Good call - forgot about that post.

As for the two additional new colors (not the Monster Trout or Monster Hitch seen above) - we won't have pictures of them until Friday possibly Monday. Which is also when we will begin shipping them.

The two samples we received, while fantastic colors - needed some minor changes. So if we post them - they won't look the same as the actual baits we will be shipping and we certainly don't want to bait and switch anyone.

The original two new colors The Monster Hitch and Monster Trout are shipping now.

The two new colors are Monster Blue Ghost and Monster Black Hitch. They are going to be sick!!! We have a limited number of them do to arrive on Friday potentially Monday... and should sell out quickly.

Here is a sneak peek at the Monster Black Hitch.
Granted there will be some small differences - but, overall this is pretty much what its going to look like..

Hey Alex -
OK they are in stock now!
I will be adding them to the site within the hour.

The Blue Ghost picture is off my kitchen table (not our photo box in the office) so it's not a great picture - but, here it is!

There is definitely a little hook harness showing through - a lot like on Lucky Craft's or other hard baits where the bottom is transluscent.

They look incredible in the sunlight and from reports we have heard from customers the look even better in the water.
