Payout for Angler's Choice R1 TOC

Post by Teresa »

Sorry, I did not post the winnings with my original posting of the results. I have reposted the results with that information. There has been a question regarding the payout of options. I paid out 100% of the options based on the 127 teams that entered both the $100. and the $75. options and the 133 teams that entered the $25.00. We paid 1 in 5 for the first 2 options, which was 25 slots and we paid 5 big fish each day.

When weighed in the second day we had a fish that was about 7.5-8 pounds. We were told they were not going to weigh that fish because someone already weighed a 9+ and that they were only paying one spot per day. I don't know if this fish would have put us there but sounds like there is a communication break down.

After going through the numbers it looks as if we would have had the 3rd to 5th biggest fish, that is unless this happened to someone else. Did anyone else have this happen to them or are we the lucky ones? We were about the tenth boat to weigh in.

Is that what the big deal was between the two tournament directors from different regions at the awards? I thought so! Too bad, the whole the whole thing was alittle poorly run if you ask me. Not slamming anyone or AC, just could be alot better IMHO!

I would be happy to elaborate but I won't in this forum!
