It's going to John Morrow or Joe Jr.

I'd like to see Kyle and Will do well also.

There are lots of folks from here who are going to do very well. Murph Mcbride is going to have a banner open. I think Dobyns and Murray are going to be on some great fish. Than Le will also do very well. The Anglers Marine crowd will be proud of Kyle, Will and Little Joe as well. My out of the blue pick for a winner.... Justin Kerr.

Heck it could be anyone.. I feel bad even picking a guy.... but for sure sake of a good natured fun guess.... I'll have to pick

Brent Ehrler

with the rest of the top 10 including: (in no particular order)

Aaron Martens
Justin Kerr
John Morrow
Joe Uribe Jr.
Kyle Grover
John Murray
Murph McBride
Tim Klinger
Thanh Le

But, Heck there are so many great fisherman out there. It could be any of them!

I wish them all luck...

Will Rakowitz and Derrick Patch..... You never know, sure would be cool to see a guy like that win it!! We are loaded with great fisherman down here in good ole' So-Cal! Personally I am not cheering for anyone, but a southern cal guy winning it sure would be nice!

My top 5 for the US Open are as follows:

1ST PLACE- Murph Mcbride

2ND PLACE- Joe Uribe Jr.

3RD PLACE- John Morrow

4th PLACE- Aaron Martens

5th PLACE- Gary Dobyns

YES, IM PREDICTING THE BIGGEST UPSET IN RECENT HISTORY!!!!
ALTHOUGH NOT AN UPSET IF YOU KNOW THE MACHINE THAT IS MURPH FREAKIN MCBRIDE. Go gettum brother!

AS FAR AS THE AAAS Jeff Augustyn will walk away with the victory for the western classic but because hes not entering the actual "US Open" he will miss out on some serious cash.

Melanie McBride will win the US OPEN money on the AAA side!!

Good luck everyone.

I'm putting my Money on Murph McBride.......Oh

Post by Melanie M »

I have already put my money on him. :D In entry fees. Thanks for the compliments Pete. All that good Kharma can't hurt. Murph has already told me I am putting too much pressure on him. I call him every night, when I get home from work and make sure he isn't slacking in the prefish. He's hittin her pretty hard. It would be nice to win 3 boats in 1 tournament. Keep thinking those good thoughts.

I wish. Just to be involved and around those group of guys and gals is unbelievable. Im looking to go out there and have a great time but also fish as hard as i ever had and not have any regrets coming home. Those guys are tough and my money is on Aaron also. Heck maybe I can get close enough to him to steal his MOJO. :D

Thanks Pete. Sure would be nice if I can do it. As long as Mead treats me better than the "Pudd" did this summer, I should do o.k...

You guys are going to get awful used to hearing the name Thanh Le. Even after tearing up the Everstart Western series, some of you probably haven't even heard of him.

He won on Lake Mead already this year...
