Final post

Post by Dan McKenzie »

Well this is my last post on the political forum, personally I've had enough politics to last me at least 4 years. Boy how people buy into all the rhetoric, soon as we hear come out either Obama or McCains mouth it shows up here as the "truth". My honest opinion is still that these two are so close as it's hard to tell them apart, both leaning heavily socialist, Obama and his tax plan, McCain who wants to buy up peoples mortgages and let them stay in their homes after re-negotiating an new "prinicple" for them. What about my principle, too bad I guess since I can "afford" it, right?

Yes neither candidate is a pillar of capitolism. At this point there is no good pick or bad pick, your choosing one and the same whomever you vote for.

Wish everyone wealth and health, we're going to need both to get through the next few years.

I'm going back to fishing, see you all in another 4 years.

While McKenzie and I agreed on very little regarding the political scene (and we took extra steps to underscore our disagreements), I get the feeling (after reading most of his posts) that this guy will not vote for Obama. I come to this conclusion based upon a few observations made while reading a myriad of his posts (1) he is an outdoors type (2) he is obviously intelligent and educated (3) he has NEVER committed to voting for Obama, though challenged many times. So, like many who are not fond of McCain (and hate Bush), he is in somewhat of a corner. I don't think he will make the decision not to vote, and I think it will be a reluctant vote for the McCain/Palin ticket.
