I also noticed that the prices on alot of there baits are more expensive than at some of my local shops. I guess i thought they would be cheaper since they can buy in such bulk.

Still too busy... There were just enough people in there that you had to say excuse me to walk down the isles and too many to really be able to take you time and look at things. They are still way under staffed for that much traffic. I doubt that it slows down until after the first of the year.

fish tank was full of fish on halloween..sturgeon, striper, bass and carp...big ones too... also, had large trout just before yu reach the tank

dont think it was understaffed....they even gave candy away in each dept.

i think too many people going and none leaving thru the cashiers buying something. hope this stays in business

didnt check prices...assume they are same as in catalog if not, then why go except look and then go home and order online

My friend came down from the bay area and we had acoupal of hours to kill so took a ride to Bass Pro. No big deal as everything is about the same prices as your local shops. Wanted to buy some bulk line and they were out. This store is nothing like the Vegas store. Spent more money on gas than at Bass Pro. I'll spend my money here in Sac in the future.
There were 4 checkout and no waiting inline as that's how busy they were.

Ya I agree the jig selection was very week, I also noticed they carried lots of rod brands but they didnt have the full line of rods, for instance they would have carrot stix but only in a few actions I wish they carried every model in each rod line, also they only had 2 or 3 colors of staysee 90s, I think big 5 has that many colors.

All in all though I was impressed they still had a ton of tackle in that place, I think my expectations were too high, I was expecting KVD to be at the door greeting me as I walked in.

Terry your sooo right! There were more chatter baits then there were jigs! I talk to one of the staff there and they said they have been getting many complaints about the jig selection. He said that "corporate" made the initial stock. They are aware of the problem and will be correcting it soon. Place was still packed! I figured things would have died down by now.
