Coyote all the way. Mickey, Steve and Jason are some cool dudes. Denise always keeps the store stocked with the best and newest gear. Best tackle store around hands down.

The main one closest to my area is Phil's Propellor's, in Shasta City(Redding). Or when at Clear Lake, Limit Out. Bill K :)

I like sportsmans warehouse in rocklin for some of the basic, terminal tackle stuff, fishermans here in Sac is ok, and has better prices on some stuff. But like most here it is alot easier to spread the wealth and buy from all these guys via the net....

If you are ever in or near Paso Robles you should make a stop at Jim's Pro Bass Tackle in Paso Robles. Jim's is less then 30min. from Lake Nacimiento and San Antonio lake.

I have to admit though, it is nice to have Tackle Warehouse in between my house and work.

Hey is that one store (cant remember the name) still in Citrus Heights?? I think it was like at Greenback and Orangvale? That used to be a great store-lots of both hunting and fishing gear.

Are you speaking of Elk Horn bait and Tackle? They have a good hunting section and some fishing stuff.

Sacramento Pro Tackle offers a lot of swimbaits and carries Blade Runner tackle. They also do a great job on rod and reel repairs!

I think your speaking of Wild Sports, I was in there this weekend and was greatly dissapointed. I have not been in there in a while so as I looked around I asked the man in the fishing section, Hey were are your jigs at, and he responded with whats a jig....I could not beleive it. Then I was looking at rods, my uncle asked the other guy in fishing if they had any G-Loomis IMX rods, the gentleman then proceeded to go through the rods with us because he was unsure what the IMX was. My Uncle was looking to spend several hundred dollars on a IMX and a Revo, but when he checked there price on the Revo they were about $25.00 more than Fishermans. It is unfortunate that there staff is not knowledgeable about what they are selling or what they have in inventory. We went to Fishermans and spent ove $700.00, sorry Wild Sports.

CLEARLAKE:

Ed Clarke at Tackle It takes time for my special needs and treats me like a king and loads me up with free stuff ;-)

Bob Higgins from Limit Out has supported the bass club at Clear Lake since before Bill K was born ;-) and is a really great guy who I hope lives and stays in business forever.

Bob, Ed and Mark Mendez all contributed some very very fine raffle gifts to The Clearlake Bassmasters last Dec.

Fishermans Warehouse has always been my favorite tackle store. The employees there are very knowledgeable and are willing to help you out if you have any problems (i.e. rod break, reel service). Tim has always been a great source of info. I live about 45 away so if I can't go to their store I go to their website. I've made a few orders and have been very pleased. Keep up the good work guys.

I'm with G- man. There all GOOD...
There is no one store that has it all at the time you might need it. I always try and stop at local stores if I 'm in town to see if they might have something I need or a bait you just cant find anymore. har har...
