I just wanted to thank all the people who have given me and others advice on how to catch these exciting fish. Too often people are not willing to give information but this is the only place where you can find good information. I moved here a little over a year from MN and I thought my days of fishing were over. I tried black bass fishing but found my spinnerbaits of the midwest served better as paper weights than as effective lures. Then I caught my first striper on the delta on accident. I didn't even know what it was, nor have ever heard of them but they fought harder than any other bass I have ever caught. From that day I have become obsessed with these things.
I caught my biggest striper to date today and landed another keeper. It was only 25" but it put a big smile on my face and the information I found on this forum helped immensely. So what it's worth thanks and best of luck to the rest of you.
Thank You!!
