Every government building for what ever service is allowed a budget for the year He wants to use them budgets. theres been a whole lot of mis handled funds in Washington.

Dont forget when people were making the biggest mistakes of there lifes by taking what I call "fake money" out of a house that was way over priced they bought things.

NEW BOATS,TRUCKS,ELECTRONICS,RODS Reels, etc... they still had to pay taxes I think the only ones who made out in this deal was the big CEOS they came in took us for everything then took us again becuase BUSH gave em 700 BILLION ! YES 700 BILLION of our hard earned tax dollars. with no regulation

Companies are going under becuase they can get loans to get em thru you can still go buy a new car if you can agree to 35% !!!

Why are they sitting on our tax dollars ? we gave now stimulate the economy give people and companies the loans they need to stay afloat.

Everbody jumps on Bush for signing the 700+ billion dollar bail out, Did'nt congress pass it and the senate yes even Obama and McCain vote for it. But it will allways be known as Bushs bailout.

The money will becoming from you and I. Obama does not want to cut uneffective programs, he wants to keep dumping money into all things government. Our taxes will go up, people will decrease their spending even more, and we will quickly find ourselves in a nasty depression.

I would like to know your background as it relates to our economy. During President Bush's 2 terms, our economy flourished. The fact that we are in a recession today is the result of a number of different factors, but the primary factor was that of Acorn forcing banks to lend to those that were otherwise unqualified to be a home owner.

When loans came to their adjustment period, these wishful thinking home owners could not afford their house payments. As a result, their homes went into default, the values fell drastically, and those of us who can afford our mortgage payments suffer, as our home's value decreased as well.

I am proud to say that I voted for Bush both terms, and I would do the same looking back on it. Liberals like to point fingers, that is all.

Bush reduced the tax top rate from 39 to 35% and tax revenues increased. The governent brought in more money due to increased productivity. Further, more people moved into the tax bracket between 2000 and 2006 than ever before.

The problem I have with them is they (BOTH REPUBLICAN AND DEMOCRATS) spent like drunken college students with their first credit card.

That sir is not conservative politics. Regan sought to eliminate the Fderal dept of eduction - rightly so. The responsibility for educating children falls 100 percent on the states. Bush increased both scope and spending. Again - not conservative.

He cut the tax part right - goofed on the spending part.

Regarding Iraq - I cerainly agree there. Bush deviated from foreign policy that's been in place since the 70s. Care to guess what that is?

which is probably not far from the truth. I used to prepare taxes part time, I got to see all the extremes, the single guy with a good income who paid the feds 40K in income tax, and the next client who made 20K in reported income, paid "0" tax and was given a refund, yes a refund on "0" taxes paid to the tune of 6K.

Our system is inherently flawed to the point that no amount of tinkering can fix the injustices found in it, yet there is no will to fix it. Not even any outrage from the American people, maybe because the majority of them are getting one hell of a deal.

Now if you really want to blow your mind look into what corporations are paying, I bet it isn't close to the 35% number that was batted around during the elections.

Let's see, didn't they go in to Cambodia and put an end to the Kemer Rouge (or however you spell it) and Pol Pott. And I believe our relations are on the warmer side and we even have diplomatic relations with them.

I remember those times of predicting doom and gloom when the North Vietnamese took over but for a large part I don't think it happened. I am sure there were some repurcussions but nothing like they said would happen. Also the people of Vietnam for the most part wanted us there, the Iraqis don't.

I'm a United States Marine, and have been for the past 4 years. Do I know MORE than you about the general feeling of the Iraqi's because my life and my brothers life has revolved around constant deployments (and training for deploying) to that country for the last 4 1/2 years, YES, it absolutely does. Just as I would not wander into your area of expertise and try and give you a lesson on it, I encourage you to do the same. Go ahead and state opinions on the matter all you want, but don't go out on a limb and try and state facts that you know NOTHING other than what you hear on CNN and MSNBC. Thanks.

In my opinion the Iraqis don't want us there and I can back that up with the vote the Iraq parliment just took recently that called for us to be out by 2011. I just never registered, until I read of your ignorance and felt I must chime in. I hope you are joking with your threats and stupidity, just to get a rise out of people. Either way, I think you should find a new hobby, bass fishing isn't for people like you. And please, go back to grade school or take a spelling class, your illiterate text gives me a head ache. If that is too much for that pea sized brain of yours to handle, computers these days have this thing called spell check, you should try it.

On a more important note, Andy, thank you for your service. There are plenty of us out there that support you and what you are doing for our country. Dom, I respect your opinion, until you start to badmouth those that defend our country. It is people like Andy that allow you to continue to maintain that opinion of yours. And as far as my "hiding" I pretty much keep to myself, I share my fishing success and tips with those that are close to me. I have caught more bass over 10 pounds than you can imagine, but that's irrelevant.

I have this feeling that you are a hack on the water, hence the frequent backlashes, but good for you to admit that. My only advice to you is respect others, and you yourself may gain a bit of respect.

Lastly, using acronyms like LOL just make you look childish.

I don't feel it necessary to post pictures of some of the 10+ bass I have caught, for a number or reasons, mostly because the spots that I have caught them at are shared between myself and only a few others, so out of respect for them, I won't be putting any pictures up. How does the length in which someone has been registered add or take away from the validity of their opinion anyways? And I can assure you that you have seen plenty of pictures of me anyways, so you needn't worry of my qualifications as a fisherman.

I apologize if I was rude in any manner to anyone, I just hate to see people badmouth others that they should respect. I don't ask for anyone's respect, but respect those that have served your country.

And Dom, again, with the he did it first, come on man.

And Bass Hunter, how do you speak of your differences face to face on an online forum. Don't be so concerned with my identity, dwelling on that is pointless. No no no, You never would have been there in the first place. They would have listened to the people who said there were no WMDs and Iraq presented no reasonable threat to the U.S. We would have had our military in west Pakistan by now Afghanistan would have been recovering and Osama wouldn't still be needing his dialysis machine.

Iran probably would have seen our success and would have second thoughts about developing nuclear capabilities.

I once asked one of the mods if a real fight had ever developed from the many threatened battles that arise from threads. He said no, whenever they see each other they stay as far apart as possible. Nobody wants to see old men fight anyway.
