I just bought one for my Dobyn's 705c ripping rod and i got the 7-1 ratio reel and just love it ! I ordered it from Tackle Warehouse and it was at my house the next day . It is so small and light it is just great , so i think it would work equally well for throwing topwater and such . I will buy another one for my spook and topwater rod when i save up some more money , i think you will like it . :)

I have recently purchased 4 new CU201E7 from Bass Tackle Depot at 20% off (Black Friday). What a deal $144ea + shipping. I switched out my 100D's and would have to say they 1-uped the previous Curado's in size, capacity & weight. You can't go wrong, that's for sure.
