STill Rules but with a different twist

Post by RichThiel »

Lunker Punkers still rule on the flats. But heres the senerio. The striper's are still there in most areas, high tide incom'in is the best I've found during the full moon.

The difference tho, is that with or without a Lunker Punker you have to have confidence in it where you have to throw, throw, throw too the general area you want to cover. What happen's? With the water 50-52 degrees NOW (Friday the 12th). You have one shot in catching them when they boil on it. NO RETURNS, One shot thats it.

Today, a 13lb 5oz (Photo Fishing Album Section) Bruiser, caught 5-6, but missed or had a explosive boil near 10-12. Every one missed its mark, didn't even feel them at any given point. As stated above a "onetime shot"

Hope this will help someone that is think'in about it this com'in weekend.

Rich,
Went & got a couple there today! We also missed a couple. Had a bit of a tough time handling the boat in the whitecaps there. Otherwise, we would have stayed a lot longer.
Thanks Again, Mike
