ReelEx WESTERN BASS GIVE AWAY! Let's have a little fun!

Post by DanIsaac »

The first person to POST the correct answer will receive a $25.00 credit towards our reel service. We'll try and do this a couple more times before the Holiday. We just want to say thank you to the fishing community which has helped to support us over this past year! We certainly appreciate it!

Here we go. Answer this;

Which 2 reels that Shimano has made are the most sought after?

Post your answer, and the first correct post wins.

Note: A seperate individual has been given the correct answer to hold for verification.

Good Luck!

Dan

I always thought the old TLD 5 is a very much sought after reel.

How about: the Lew Chidre Speed Spool baitcaster originally OEMed by Shimano (stamped Shimano on the side). Those 20+ year old Speed Spools and Bantam 100 are still sought after quite a bit...

New guess:

1. Bantam 100
2. Lew's Speed Spool as OEMed by Shimano

No sir, look's like e-mailing banatm1 for the answer didn't work!

Sheesh...I didn't email him for an answer. I only asked him about the TLD 5 because I always thought it, along with the TLD 10, was a nifty little Shimano reel from long ago that people still want (for both fishing with and for collecting purposes). And I never asked him about the Bantam 100 or Speed Spool....

Ok, "listen" maybe you should try again. I will say only this,,,,,none of your quesses included both right answers.

That's all I'm going to say.

No thanks.

My guesses were posted in the spirit of fun and history (and a curiosity as to which reels really were amongst Shimano's most sought after). Nothing I asked Bantam1 about had anything to do with cheating.

That's it from me.

WINNER is Fish_Food.

He had both reels we were looking for in one of his posts.

The answer was:

TLD-5
TLD10

Congratulations and please feel free to PM me FFood for details.

Thanks to everyone! We'll do it again this morning with a little easier one!
