The guy who owns it got banned from here. I am not sure he wants his name posted here.

I don't understand why this question was even posted in the first place personally....

If someone wants to know who "owns" Calbassin .... Go Post that Question on there ... Or PM someone who may know from reading the topic's/post there.

Why can't people just ALL get along ~ and just leave the Drama to T.V. soap opera's ??

Some say it will come down to censorship, some will say it is money .... Others will say it is the constant berating/personal conflicts that they have never even met in person to person.....

When will it end ?

Seriously ..... The more I think about it it is not more of a question "when will it end" .... But "Why does it continue" ~ and "how can it come to everyone being themselves again that they wish to portray themselves as - in reel life to others that they have meet and shared with on the web" ?

I have been through a silly hunting forum split.... Hell -- I am even a co-owner of TOF. It has it rewards indeed - Mostly for the So Cal Hunters. Is it the same as the original JHO ? No.... No way in hell even.

Both are a full of headaces that I don't wish to involve myself daily in any more -- That is what makes Fishing so great again that was rediscoverd to me from my son -- There is no fishing season -- It is Year Round and 4 minuets from the house !!

My family and I have also been through a Church split .... No where's at all the same as "what was - and possibly could of been" if everyone worked out their differences togther with all issues on the table from those people that were the roundtable. -- to the faithful members. There is nothing more worse than a church split of the members that make up the body.

But we are "just pursuers of Fish and the Outdoors" while sharing in here.. sTony's house that he built with his roundtable. Respect that please and put the silly games aside.

Chit happens....... Move on and grow with it or move on and learn from it - Taking those lessons to other places in life as well. Or even on the web if that is what tickles your fancy..... There are a million web pages out there -- Leave the trying to destroy what one page and love for the sport has done for EVERYONE alone WITH THANKS for all that it has done, and continues to do for The Sport and Love.

If someone can pull off something as well to give back to everyone -- More Power to us All !!

Oh well, like it really matters if those guys names are in print on this site. Tom, you break me up.

Jeff Billings and his employee Franz are two of the guys behind the site. Another would be Greg Cornish and heck, I don't know, TomL may have a role over there too. All you have to do is look at who that site's admins are and you'll know who's behind it.

There, now you have it.

DeltaDan,my reason for asking wasn't to stir things up. It was nothing more than to find out who runs/owns calbassin. I think you and others tried to read more into this question than there is. Why didn't I ask on the other forum(calbassn)? It may sound silly but my loyalty runs with sTony and WB. I've met Tony only a few times, so it's not like we're best of friends or something,but WB is where it all started for me. Until 2000 I had never been bass fishing,and then I found this site. For me this place has been awesome. It's made bass fishing much easier,with all the info that's shared here.NOTHING MORE-NOTHING LESS .....Thanks,John Silberbauer

The point of my previous post was to highlight that John made a simple post. And then it 'seemed' like folks blasted him for it. Which was uncalled for. It seems to happen often, not just on this site but any internet forum site. That's just the way it is.
