Gloves

Post by SFD3RNGR »

I am looking for a good pair of cold weather mitts. I have also seen some individuals wearing a rubber coated type? Any recommendations.

Try searching the Northern board using the keyword "gloves"... this has been covered many times, and there is a lot of good previous input on the subject.

I picked up 4 pair of Heavy fingertipless wool gloves with flaps to cover the fingers and thumb from Walmart in CLake for almost $7 apiece.

I have to take it off my plaming hand when fising But I have some thinner fingerless wool gloves to use while fishing that I got from K-mart last year.

Cant find either one in Contra Costa County at all anymore as both stores have done mostly away with their hunting/fishing selection and gear/accessories.
You know, we always called each other goodfellas. Like, you'd say to somebody: "You're gonna like this guy; he's all right. He's a goodfella. He's one of us." You understand? We were goodfellas, wiseguys.

I’m in Colorado for Christmas and doing testing on my wool gloves – it is 12 degrees outside. Here is a link when it was covered last time.

I bought some great mitten style gloves at Phil's props. They have a rough rubberized texture on the outide and wool on the inside. You can slide your cold/wet hands into them easily and they work great while running from spot to spot...with good grip.

I just bought a pair of Fox River fingerless ragg wool gloves from REI for about $10. They are a bit itchy so I'm thinking of trying the Simms Windstopper Half-Finger Gloves.

I went with the "joka" type, but with another name sold at Phils, these glove will slip over a pair of wool gloves as well. The seirus 1426 xtreme look good too.
