I got broke into last night.

Post by brambo0311 »

I am in the process of moving and remodeling a house in Orangevale. Anyways the stuff they might try to pawn off in here is a LCX 27 and a 113, new in the box. If anyone finds it please give me a PM and try to get a plate number, name, whatever.

Other than that the got a Welders, air tools, cordless, Compressure, nail guns, ram sets, ECT..

Anyways I dont even have a screw driver to screw myself. So I guess I am done repairing for a while. Around 13 grand worth of tools is up for sale some were. Please keep an eye out.

Real sorry to hear that. Times are tough enough, without having to deal with that additional slap in the face!

Hope they find the bass turds and put them away for a while, where they are then befriended by Bubba for a nice cozy stay!

Hope you get your stuff back!

Y'know, this is the kind of thing that makes me want to lie in wait and commit slow painful mayhem on the scumbags if I catch em trying to make off with my stuff. Can't help myself. I'd invite some fellow nutcases along for the fun. Think they could swim/walk to shore from the middle of Frank's Tract? Naked? With shackles on their ankles?
Or, lets see... once the water gets nice and high, dangle em over the edge in the Berryessa gloryhole. I'm sure getting the pr!@ks off the street will help prevent a bunch of other crimes. Then you guys could send me presents while I cool my heels in the pokey on charges of aggravated mayhem.

Damn, that sucs... I was broken into last April and they got a ton of my tools, brand new 61" TV and 7 guns. Makes you sick to your stomach. Cops wouldn't even take prints...it was unreal. All they cared about were the handguns that were stolen, didn't even care about the shotguns and rifles. Of course Allstate has a sub limit on firearms too...that hurt.

MAKE SURE YOU CHECK on CRAIGSLIST regularly. I found a few of my things on there and emailed the people from another address and then they took the ads off right away. Of course there email was hidden and no phone number in the ad. People are scum...

Goodluck with find the A$$holes that stole from you...Ill keep an eye out on craigslist as well. If you end up replacing those units, let me know, I can get really good deals on Lowrance, Humminbird and Garmin.

Thanks guys. I have been checking craigs list. As far as a deal on electronics for the boat, I need t get some tools first to get my family in the house. But thanks.

I dont know what insurance will cover, I havent heard good things about progressive, but the wife signed up for it when we bought the house.

Just please keep a look out for that amazing deal. I think Karma got me. I got a super deal on a hammer drill from craigs list last week. I felt funny about the deal, but bought it anyway. Guess what the only tool they didnt steal was? It was just left there in the case on the counter.

Really Sorry to hear about your loss. I have never understood the mind of a person ? who would steal from some one else. most can barley afford the loss and most time the insurance is not enough to cover it.

hanging is too good for em and unfortunately our law's have been melted to the point of a hand slap with probation is the most you can expect !

The goods are sold for a drug they shoot into there arm or sniff up there nose and no though to what it took for you to build up over the years one piece at a time.

Then ya have the *** HOLES who knowing buy your stuff, just so they can get it cheep. When I lived in Berkley, grungy druggies would hit om me all the time to buy cameras and hand tools, once or twice on the ranch, they would come up with whole pick ups full of tools to sell at pennies on the dollar. Pissed me off when farmers in the area I knew would buy it.

Any way I hope you recover what you loss, and if ya need it, I have a Lowrance 85 and 75 with all the pucks and wires that you can borrow until ya get your own. Just pm me here if ya want em.

Its funny, people grin when they buy stuff too cheap and they guess it is stolen.

Those are ones that bitch and scream the hardest when hit.. KARMA I guess.

Sorry about your tools Brambo.

I can't stand a thief.

Do you work at the White Cap in Livermore? Saturday morning at around 5 AM I went to go get something from our warehouse we sublet some space from Maas Bros. I came around the back of the building and as I got close to the corner unit (white cap) a couple of guys in a white ford pickup went tearing out the alley. We put a camera system all around our building on Southfront. Definately crime is on the upswing. Now days unless you have video evidence police will do very little, guess there isn't much they can do, not enough of them (cops that is).

Yeah mike about a year ago they took my 998 off of my tin boat. they left the transducer with about 1/4 inch of wire. I bet they sold it as a plasma TV.

Here is the kicker. After going through everything, I am kinda piecing things together.

1. Tools and there blades were in separate areas of the house. Air hoses, chuck keys, welder leads. Kinda scattered around and in cabnets and stuff. When they stole a piece of equiptment, they took all the stuff that goes with it.

2. One cabnet I had my finders in had some screw drivers in there I needed, only one person had seen me take that out. And it was in a corner cabnet you had to feel around to bull out the box.

3. A chop saw I was using died and only one person knew it broke. They left the broken dewalt and took the working chicago POS.

4. The sliding window and frame that was stolen will only fit houses in my development. The floor refinishing guy lives somewere around the corner.

5. The garage has 2 sides, one is all my stuff separated by a wall of carpet and trash, the other is were contractors have been keeping there stuff. I have seen this floor guy on my side a couple of times.

6. Small things have been disapearing since this guy showed up. Like my heavy gage extension cords, when there was no sign of a break in.

7. When I noticed a burn out mark in my driveway before the cops got there, the floor guy who wasnt parked on it. Said let me move my truck and parked way down the road.

Maby I am paranoid, but I came up with this list while laying in a wet pile of leaves in my old guily suite with 308 in my shoulder last night from 11 pm to 6:30 am. Nobody took the bait I set out, guess we are both lucky. Now I am tired, have a cold and no trigger time. I think my Marine Corps days of living on my belly playing lizard aint so easy anymore.

Oh this is funny. At least 15 people stopped by last night and said they heard about the break in, and were pissed off. And nothing like this has ever happened around there.

Sounds like you need to talk to your floor guy. Find out where he lives and go take a peek around his house. Good luck bro!

You know, we always called each other goodfellas. Like, you'd say to somebody: "You're gonna like this guy; he's all right. He's a goodfella. He's one of us." You understand? We were goodfellas, wiseguys.

I am in orangvale, its sac county. I dont want to accuse the wrong guy. I dont think he could have made it through the window. He is kinda broken. I guess there have been a few of these robberies. They look for the foreclosed signs and wait until it looks like peple are working on the place and take out all the old stoves and stuff. Then they know there are new appliances and tools inside and nobody there. Floor guys did a great job though, looks great.
