Re: UFC 92 – Who are your picks
UFC light Heavyweight Champion
Rashad Evans has 17 wins and just 1 draw against Tito Ortiz in July 07. One of his wins was close decision win over Michael Bisping in Nov 07. In Sept 08 he knocked out Chuck Liddell ‘The Iceman’ with a one punch knockout in the second round.
It seems like Forrest's weaknesses are Rashad's strengths and I think this fight will be a bit more competitive than the other fights Saturday night.
Forrest is a guy who doesn't have the best wrestling or chin and Rashad is a guy who can wrestle and has shown power.
If Rashad Evans does not knock out Forrest within three rounds Forrest Griffin will be standing in the fifth with the win.
I will take Forrest Griffin standing blooded with the decision.
------------
Antonio and Frank’s match is an elimination bout for the Heavyweight Championship - winner will face Brock Lesnar
Frank Mir only has 14 pro fights and his last fight with Brock Lesnar in Aug 07 he was the underdog but put submission kneebar to win. Mir's only chance is to somehow grab a submission and crank it like his life depended on it. What did Mir do to deserve this fight?
I will take Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira with a Second Round KO/TKO.
--------------
Quinton Jackson Rampage and Wanderlei Silva have some history. Silva not only beat Rampage once with his brutal knees, he did it twice. A lot of people debated the first fight but there really weren't any excuses in the second meeting. Silva knocked Rampage out in the rematch and almost sent him out of the ring in the process.
I will take Silva by Third Round KO/TKO

Re: UFC 92 – Who are your picks
So what you think about a night of ZERO submission wins? that was a night of a bunch of guys just getting their faces beat in!!! The biggest shocker of the night was Mir taking out Nogueira...never saw that coming!
Nogueira looked like he was sleeping and NOT even ready to fight...
Way to go Mir for capitalizing on the knock downs and not letting up on Nogueira and getting the nice TKO!
Wanderlei Silva...does anyone else think he's about done? He's gone to sleep TOO MANY times by knock out!
