Re: how is the ise show
I was really disappointed. Not much to see, not crowded but tons of swim baits, they just all happen to be selling the same ones. Prices vary from vendors. One was selling basstrix for 11.99 and another had the same one for 8.19. You need to check prices before buying. Some good deals but you can see many vendors did not make it.

Doesn't fishing Camanche sound better than that bkgdog812?
Still have a seat open if you're interested.
Sorry for the hijack.

It was definitely watered down from when I was there 4-5 years ago. Several booths were missing. No Coyote B&T. No G Loomis. And many of the booths that were there were smaller. The fly fishing building had a lot of empty space. As mentioned previously the swimbaits were there in force. Didn't see any good deals, but I wasn't really on the hunt. As a result of the cutbacks I ended up watching several of the seminars which were cool. I mainly went to check out the new Dobyns rods and the Chronarch D. The Dobyns rods were very nice but no Chronarch D. They will be at the Sacramento show, however.

The show is great! Go by Togos or Big O and get some discount tickets. Park outside and walk in, you could use the exercise! its the best weather for a show in the country! Bar none! Go to bay tackle?? and get a Currado and get an instant $50 off plus no tax. No mail-in rebate and still the best real made. Then go over to Jsj and wish you had that much talent in anything you do. Oh yea... DO NOT BUY ANY OF THOSE BAITS AND USE THEM AT CLEARLAKE! They are probably too much money for you guys, (not!). After you cruise around, smell the BBQ, check out the dogs, admire the fly fishing junk go sit down and listen and watch the best some of the best Bass fishermen in the world. You never know when 1 or more of these guys won't be back, life happens. I am not sponsored nor do I get anything out of this post., just feel like being positive today. Steve...<><
