Having sit behind a few columns at the Boston GAHden, only lived there for 25 years, its nice to have the Celts destroy the lakahs in the finals, not even much of a B-ball fan. Seems like the celts are a class act though. You dont see a rift when they lose a few games.... like someone else did. Who is he gonna get shipped out when the lakers lose this year? One thing I noticed from the Finals was a fear of other shooters to shoot. They looked at Kobe first and by then they had a hand in the face. I guess thats what you get with a whiney " gimme the ball and the press" guy like Kobe.

Im not even bitter about the 11-5 Pats not making the playoffs I even rooted for the chargers, Pat fans hate the steelers WAY MORE- Go baltimore.
To be honest Rivers whines as much as Culter and they both are whiney pri(ks. Its too bad they both cant see the other side of the coin. They go in the paper and mock everyone, when its gametime and they get their A$$es handed to them they get mad when someone shows them up...... you figure that out.

LT never whined till Rivers got there and started blaming someone else. Then he is on National TV telling the world the Pats have no class.... they werent the ones in the news telling the world the pats SUCKED and it was "LIGHTS OUT". Then you have Rivers on TV telling Rodney Harrison, Asante Samuel is the WORST corner in the league.
The Chargers WOULD be close to the best team in the league, at least this season, if they would quit being girls, stop whining about the injustices against them and play ball. If you are constantly looking to blame someone else...... you throw a pick and your D is out on the field for 14:43 of the 3rd quarter, against a HORRIBLE, but GREAT game manager QB #7. Rothesburger leans 100000000% on his line and some RBs with amazing feet, and some WRs that will get killed for 10 yards. I dont think Ben has ever had 2 200 yard games in a row. Heck if he throws for 215 yrds he has 4 picks and 2 fumbles.

Lastly....... can someone tell the Ref that when Phillips #95 jersey isa full YARD away from his body compliments of the Steeler linemen, can WE CALL HOLDING!!!
Please do me a favor next weekend watch the steeler line. It doesnt take 20/20 vision to see the holding. But I guess the ref is too busy watching that lumbering Ox try to hook up with a 3 yard throw so the line can release and go chop block and hold down field.

Come on...seriously every play has holding...EVERY play.

Steelers offense stepped it up when needed and the chargers looked like the chargers that were 4-8. There defense brought ZERO pressure and gave Big Ben all the time to make plays.

Steelers are a good team and theiir defense can stop ANYONE. Thats why they are 13-4 and the defense is #1 in the country.

I am noticiing that people hate steelers a lot...WHY? They are a gritty team...mean and brutal. Thats FOOTBALL!!!

Why comment on basketball when you are a self-proclaimed "NON FAN" of the game? What happened last year, well....that's yesterday's news buddy. That's like me saying LA smashed Boston in 1984-85 or in 1986-87. Most people that are familiar with this sport are more concerned with the present season. Did you see the game on christmas day? Of course you didn't...why would someone who isn't a fan watch some b-ball? Well pal...Lakers spanked 'em 92-83. KG(sorry...Kevin Garnett..since you don't know much about basketball) was Boston's leading scorer with 22 measly points...that's pathetic! The Lakers closed the end of the game by going on a 13-2 run! The Lakers defense caused the Boston Celtics to turn the ball over 17 times.

Moreover....Lakers have THE BEST record in the league as we speak

Class Act? Really? You sure about that?
http://www.thebostonchannel.com/sports/ ... etail.html

Please explain to me how Kobe Bryant is a whiny(not whinEy) "gimme the ball and the press" guy. Kobe has been an outstanding player/sportsman and humble role model on the court for his teammates. He had 13 assists in the game 3 nights ago in which they defeated the Pacers. See...lemme explain to you how this game works. When you have a clutch player that has a 27ppg average, it is inevitable that he becomes your "go to" guy during many of your team's crucial moments. Just because a guy can CLOSE IT, doesn't make him a "gimme the ball" guy. As far as him being whiny, please give me some examples, as I'm yet to see this. If Kobe has a game where he plays like $h!T, he lets everyone(and the media) know it. He tells you straight up, "I didn't play well." Never heard him whine or blame others. He can admit when he is wrong or has made mistakes. And that is not something you can take away from the guy.

If you wanna hate on the Lakers, on a WESTERN forum where they are the home team, get your facts straight and pull your foot out of your mouth because it's really not a good look for you dude. I've been a fan since I could walk and grew up watching this organization flourish into what it is today. Good times and bad. I clear my schedule on game nights and follow them religiously.

Bottom Line...Ignorance is bliss for people like you :D
Think twice and say nothing....

Maybe you are a fan or Reggie Bush and his somersaults into the end zone like he has not been there before, but watch LT score, he does it with class, no whining either. As far as the Patriots not having any class, he's just telling the truth. And by the way, it's Cutler, not Culter, I thought for a minute you were talking about Ann Coulter, who is a lot of things, but is not a football player

As far as I can tell, River yapped at a fan last year in Indy, and then at Cutler last year in the last game, that's it. Get a grip, go Lakers!!

LT is garbage! This crap about him sitting on the sidelines while his team plays over and over again is getting old. You new school/Fantasy football playin' football watchin' people might think its cool that he runs out of bounds or sits is ARSE on the bench in a championship game while his Quarterback waddles on and off the field. Not me I remember David Garrard being carried down the field by his offensive linemen play after play cause his knee was jacked up. Speaking of Jack what about Jack Youngblood playing with a broken leg? LT had a solid last 3-4 games of the season but he is the true WHINER!

hahaha. Kobe is a great guy LOL what a joke. Lemme know when he wins a championship by himself. Remember he wants to win it on his own, not other stars in his glorious spotlight. The whole team is built FOR him.
Congrats you beat the Celts. Just like BC knocked off UNC. We'll see you in the playoffs. Better buy another few guys if you wanna compete though. Good work on the record, good thing is the celts rough streak is now not in april.

I love this last year crap. So that doesn't count? Wanna explain to me WHY the Champs are flying to the WEST coast after a Game to play on Christmas? Why are WE going to YOU. You SHOULD have won.

A link on a PAST PLAYER!!!!!!!!!! are you kidding me? Your boy paid a girl off to avoid a RAPE trial. His idiot owner paid to fly him back and forth from Denver to go to trial.
Yeah yeah Im sure there was no evidence etc. Doesn't matter the jerk cheated on his WIFE!!! CLAAASSY

Terry, congrats on your grammar police job, must be a tough one. ,did you deputize your buddy? Im proud I only mispelled a few words.

Pats have no class? They aren't the idiots dancing on the field like idiots after beating up on the worst conference in the AFC. Your boy " lights out" should have been suspended for the season, but wasn't. I thought it was great to see a punk like Merriman thinking he had made it in the NFL after one season and deserved his own special dance...
LT was mad that he got shutdown, and noone respected his "record" Remember LT and Merriman etc were in the news the week before bashing on the patriots on what an easy game it was going to be. LIGHTS OUT i think Merriman said to expect. Yeah it was, for HIM.

People hate the steelers for the same reason they hate the Patriots. Except they dont win Superbowls because of phantom goal line call.
Or have a QB that lumbers in the backfield and averages 14 of 22 for 110 yards and 1 TD and 1 INT. Ben is big and thats the only reason he gets the passes off he does, then his line and receivers do the rest and people think he is the reason.

Holding is on every play I KNOW. I do have an issue when Phillips of SD's jersey is almost off his body being held by a Steelers O lineman, while he runs in place, thats holding. Or how about Jamal getting one arm pulled as he trys to get Parker? The dude has his arm and Jamal is reaching with the other.

Im not talking about the under the pads stuff or normal holding. Its the textbook hold that the guy is tackled or running in place while being held from behind.

oh and Alex I watched/listened to the celts when Johnny Most screamed into the mic.
I do love how the Celts have never made an excuse but because Kobe has taken a teeny bit of responsibility you are cleaning his toejam for him.

I guess you guys have to hold onto something. Whens the last time you had a Championship? Oh when Shaq was around? Before Kobe ran him out of town.
Boston has been doing pretty well. Oh I was delivering newspapers when I read the story about Bill Parcells coming to the Patriots and still own the paper with the headlines about Reggie Lewis death.
So Poser I'm not. Knew every nook of the Garden and Fenway. Seems 99% of Laker Fans are like Yankee Fans. Its nice to see a guy that actually loves his team and HAS loved it. Not just hops on a bandwagon when there is a buzz in the air.
I usually get all the Direct TV pacakges but had to nip one and Basketball had to go.
Already had the NHL, NFL, and MLB deal so I can't keep giving the Direct TV guys kids a college fund.

My "Fire" story was EPIC!!! ANd it wasnt a "brush" fire...it was a Forest Fire! The hair on my legs was gone for weeks after that day.
Nothing like trying to fight a fire in shorts.

Seriously guys...ALOT of what J10b says is true.. LT's "skills" went bye bye with Neal. That dude opened up serious holes for LT and often lead him straight into the endzone. That is the truth..
LT is soft...PERIOD! 3 playoff games in a row Ive watched that clown sit on the sideline.
Hell even Rivers played while he had a broken bone...
And people always bad mouth Terrell Owens but he played with a broken bone in that playoff game a couple seasons ago and had like 16 catches... As I said...like it or not...LT is soft!!!

dont bring the Lakers into this. We were a young team last year and still are. If they stay together they will dominate Boston for years. We are just reliving awesome basketball history AGAIN. Lakers, Celtics.

J10B before you got ahead of yourself cowboy, you need to make it out of the East first. The way thing look right now Lebron will be tapping that @$$ all year long. Unless your OLD, TIRED team starts rotating on their defenses you guys are going to keep losing.. much like you almost lost AGAIN last night to Tornto. Doc claimed he was going to rest his BIG THREE this year and all they have done is played MORE minutes.. and you wonder why all of your shots are hitting front rim. The Celtics are playing tired, looks like last year wore on them pretty good. I pray we meet the Celtics in the finals... id much rather play you guys than Cleveland.
Create your own luck.

Kobe IS a great guy. You don't follow b-ball..remember, so how would you know if you don't pay attention? The guy is role model on the court to EVERYONE on his squad. Unlike your 3 "superstars" who are consistently try to outshine one another. Too many cooks in the kitchen spoils the broth....

Whole team built for him??? HAHAHAHAHAHA
Dude wake up...LA has THE BEST BENCH in the NBA. Their backup squad would destroy most teams starting lineups. Boston has the "Boston 3 Party"....That's 3 alleged "superstars" on the same team. And they're tired and can't even come close to the stamina of Kobe who averages 36mins a night! You know nothing about this game. Maybe you really should get that NBA package from your cable company....You need it and it shows...

Celts rough streak will extend all the way through the playoffs. When you abuse 3 guys every night like Boston does to their precious Three Party, and don't have an adequate team to pick up the slack...That's a bad sitaution. There's something called injury...and fatigue, ever heard of those?

Why did the Celtics come to the Staples Center on Dec. 25th? That's a really stupid question? WTF???
Because that's how the season was scheduled??? We'll see you in Boston on Feb. 5th, so don't worry we'll come to "your" house too.
See that's how this sport works. There are HOME and AWAY games also.....Crazy concept ehhh??? Who woulda thunk it?

Kobe cheated on his wife...So what? That's off the court. Who cares? Certainly not me. Never said he was perfect. Jordan, arguably the greatest player of all time, had a serious gambling addiction off the court. Does that take away from his NBA career? Does that make him less of a player? HELL NO! Get real dude... those are MINOR things compared to DUI, Drug or Gun charges, or being a dumb$h!t like Paul Pierce and talking smack to the wrong person and getting stabbed 11 times while "partying" at an after hours club....That's just plain stupid. This league is not flawless. There is a reason the NBA doesn't test for marijuana...because if they did, they'd lose 3/4 of their league. Yeah they all go home after games and burn one. I know this news to you, since you don't know much about this sport. When you try so hard to belittle a guy's credibility, who has achieved so much in such a short time, based on hearsay, you sound really uneducated. Speaking of education, I thought I'd do you favor and give you this: http://dictionary.reference.com/ , so that you can check your spelling in the future. If that's too difficult for you, let me know, and I can go into storage and dig up a few of my grade school spelling workbooks for ya. I was an "A" student.

The Chargers got their asses handed to them. And if you want to go see a holding clinic, go watch the tape and see the Chargers left tackle physically TACKLE James Harrison all game long.

Roethlisberger must be a good game manager to be in his 3rd AFC Championship game in 5 seasons. He's a winner. And he also has the most 4th quarter comeback wins of any QB in the league since he's entered the NFL. And he also has the most wins in NFL HISTORY of any QB through 5 seasons. Some hack eh? Big Ben is the real deal. I love how he game managed wins over the Bengals, Colts and Broncos 3 years ago on the way to a Super Bowl win. Might do the same thing this season if he manages the game right.

Sproles got shut down. 15 yards rushing. Rivers only damage after the first series was when the Steelers let up in the 4th quarter. You are talking about the #1 ranked defense in the league across the board except for rushing where they are #2.

I guess when the penalties aren't 13-2 in the Chargers favor the excuse bag gets flooded. The Steelers dominated the game. Bring on the ratbirds. :D

Yep indeed, but LA is known as the land of a few, extremely small lakes. And that's only if ya take into account the GREATER Los Angeles area.

I just wonder out loud why they didn't bother to change the name decades ago when they made the move to both LA and Utah. I mean, what's Utah got to do with Jazz? About the same as LA has to do with lakes.

The Lakers kind of had a decent following when they came over here and they probably didnt want to lose money on jersey sales.. I mean think about it. They can market it to two states instead of one, a lot more revenue that way.

Who cares about the Jazz?

How can anyone consider Kobe to be selfish RIGHT NOW? Give me a break, watch the game son! Kobe has passed the ball more then ever in his career over the last few years. He has a great cast around him. (Gasol, Bynum, Fisher, SV, Odom, Farmar. The Lakers depth is the best in the NBA, and guess what? They show it....

Go Lakers, F$ck Boston!

Laker Fans don't you just love having Fisher back? He brings more then his game to a Ball club!!

I love having Fisher back but we need to get some guys healthy. We are relying too much on him and he is getting up there in basketball years.

I agree...cuz Fisher is a clutch player who serves his time and place. When you make him "do work" for 35+mins a game, it gets to be a bit much, and you can see how it kinda takes it toll on him. His is still remarkable from outside, and definitely HAS NOT lost his touch in that dept.

Last nights game was a real bummer, a critical error by Ariza may have been what cost them the game in the final moments.....AAAARRRRGGGGGHHHHH...1 friggin' point...To the god-forsaken spurs!!! I hate losing to that little french bastard!
I was on the edge of my seat goin berserk. That was a SICK comeback they had though. Who dares say the Lake's Show ain't THE BEST 4th quarter team in the league? Ariza is still young and has SOOO much potential in this league if he continues to play with this group of guys. Has the makings of a real stand out. Let's just say if I was gonna buy a Laker's jersey(again) tomorrow, it would probably be #3!

Go Lakers....w00t

 We actually lost a game. Look how spoiled we are on winning. No one has ever gone undefeated. Tough lose the way it went down, come back to lose on the 3 point play.. then the travel. GHEY.
