All I will say is there is a HUGE difference between Clearlake and Pedro they are not even remotly the same! I also will not vote as there are too many good guys fishing and in a tournament like this LUCK plays a huge roll all you need to do is get a big bite and get it in the boat. I have said it before, I would rather be "lucky" than "good" any day. One thing is for sure it will be tough on tournament day as the fish will have been beat up by two months of pre-fishing. Good luck to all.

I am fishing it but I will pick Nico Raffo. He and Rob Belloni won the slugfest there this past weekend. Look at Nico's Cal Fishing photo album and see for yourself. He will be my odds on favorite, unless of course, I get lucky

I would have to see the list of anglers first. There are some excellent locals I know are going to be in it, and lets face it, they have an advantage. However, if Nico Raffo is in it my vote goes for him. Then again, I always feel like I have a shot at winning :P

Chris Vanclef,Rob Belloni, and of course Nico Raffo. Awesome swimbait fisherman with the knowledge of the lake and skill sets second to none. Raphael Rossi,Don Osborne ,and Josh St.John also. They are in and know enough to gettir done as well. Gonna definetly be a good competitive field and exciting to see how this turns out! If there are still openings I may jump in if my money status changes someday soon  . I say good luck to all and hopefully we will see some big fish caught!

Chris Vanclef
Rob Belloni
Moorman, Don
Niapas, Alex
Robert Mansor
Bruce, Joe
Nico Raffo
and if he were fishing, Rod Martin
I think are the ones to beat on Don Pedro and have lots of big bass to their name here..

Jigs There are alot of guys in this area that are good swimbait fishermen. Here are a few more to put on your list Tom Schocton, Robert Marxsmiller, Bill Cook, Arron Cole, and that bald headed guy Brian Cox. I would like to see the entry list before I make my guess either way this is going to be a fun tournament. Can't wait!!!!

I totally agree Jim, I also need to see the list, and in no way did I mean to slight anyone of the others, I should have waited to see the list, and I am sure alot of the best may not be on the list ??

Rob Belloni and Bassin Don Moorman are not fishing this event. Too bad I like both of those guys and wished they would be reppin NOR CAL. It will be fun either way. What happened to Shawn Bailey? he is a no show also.

I have to vote for myself, but if I was not fishing I would put my money on Danny Gillespie, Kyle Rassmusen, Aaron Cole, Joe Bruce, Alex Niapas, Greg Ross or The TACO MAN RMANZO, and of course Nico and Cris - too many good names on the list. If the bite does not change it will be very interesting, I think with all of the guys fishing though it will take a teen fish to win in March even with a tough bite.

I was shocked to see Bub and Bassindon are out, I was even more shocked at a couple of the names on the VTO list there are a couple of guys on there who could compete themselves ( HI GUYS - you know who you are! ) I almost did the same thing, but when I thought about it, I could not sit in a boat on Pedro and watch!
