How many rods do you own?

I was going through my pile of rods and was surprized I counted 33 bass combos. Just wondering how many rods do you guys own?

I think the research into what rod/reel you need for a specific application, the search for the best deal and setting it all up, is a hobby in itself. My wife thinks I enjoy that as much as I do using them. It is addicting.

I clean out the closet and give rods away as I quit using them. That lets me help others enjoy my sport and after I give them away I forget I did and and buy them again .

Ive got 1 main 7ft rod and reel combo I use for a lot of stuff...never disappointed me. 1 8ft big swimbait/catfish/striper combo, one med 6'6" light combo for finesse/drop shot/trout, one heavy action flippin combo....thats it. Got tons of reels that need some repair, and a couple other rods I have no reels for.

Im a pack rat lol. I cant stand putting a rod into retirement. I have about 25 setups, will never have enough And all my old rods still get relegated to some odd task or another as I replace them in their original applications. Some Ive given away to friends and I couple have been the victims of some rod customization experiments gone awry. Same with reels. Guess Im just cheap

Tight budget fisherman. I have 6, but two of my reels have extra spools that I load with different line, so I guess that makes 8. Being a fun fisherman and not yet really knowing what I'm doing I think that's enough.

well lets see...I would say between my dad and I we have about 40+ combos ready to fish. Funny thing is...at any given time i usually use 2-3 a trip!!!

oh well...and I am trying to get another set up as we speak!

well I have 10 that I actually use, and probably another 5-10 with out reels on them, and I my dad probaly has another 10 or so. So that makes 25-30 rods. But I still need alot more!!

I have 25-30 combos, and about 6 extra reels, and 7 extra rods. Including my Fly combos The funny thing is I only take 8 at most fishing, and use 3 of those while out on the water. But I still need a couple more!

I have about 30 rods, but I am downsizing this year. Will keep five that Steve Beichman made up for me. Two Esox's I have and two
St. Croix's and two Lamaglas. Between them I will have spin and bait casters that cover my needs and help some local kids obtain some very decent rods with the extras. Now you know I am getting old, old when you start downsizing like this. Before it was never enough, now it is k.i.s.s. Bill K

I think my kids counted them and i have like 59 rods , my wife said i have some sort of sickness Everyone that has fished with me knows i have a ton of rods that i use every time i fish . I just like to fish alot of different ways , with specialized rods

It's kinda funny...when my wife asks "is that a new rod ?" I always reply "I've had this awhile." Shortly thereafter it seems I am asking is that a new top and she always replies "this old thing ?". Needless to say my garage is plugged with tackle and our closets plugged items that were on sale.
