Optima Blue Tops. Take a look at the 31M series marine battery. Cost more than most, but no head aches...

what is your opinion of the Optima D34 battery? Costco has them for around $150.00 each. Thanks,

That is what I have used, with the same engine you are asking about, for about 3yrs now. Got them at Costo as well. I love them. They last long and recharge quickly. Best of all, no maintenance.
