SWBA on 2-7-09

Post by Al M »

SWBA season starts up on the 7th of February in Newport Bay, I hear there are already 50+ teams presigned could beat last years turn out. Imagine that a tourney with 70+ boats, for $100 + $20 big fish the payouts should be great not to mention the killer grinds afterwards.Been seing quite a few bass boats out there prefishing wondering who that might have been?It took me 5 years but finally Rex is dunking the 519 in the salt for the bay tourneys :D, and my ride for the inshore ones. With the way our lake tournaments are drawing down here this is a no brainer. Come on Pete dont be such a p u s s , dunk that Skeeter beater in the salt its only water

Yeah Al, Robyn and I are geeked for the new season. We fished this Friday. Launched before light at 5:30 AM, no lines, no Quagas and all the water you could want. Robyn's had a pretty good drop shot bite going, and the flippin bite on the docks and moorings was good as well. Hope to see some fresh water guys, Phil

Hey stop telling every body about these really great, fun, low cost events!!! I'll never be able to get a top 60 finish if there are more than 59 boats.

Ahhh crude. I guess I'll have to shoot for a top 70 finish.

I think it's gonna be a tuff event. Good luck. Be safe.

Tough event??

Post by TEAMDEADMONEY »

Word on the street is that the bite is WIDE F#@%ing open...

Look for Team Dead Money Prostaffers "the Bassturds" Al and Rex to make a STRONG showing. Also "Team Dirty" GerryJig to lay the wood on the bay bass.
The 6 lb line only rule has been lifted this year for this tournament so I putting my dough on these two teams to take the first 2 spots on the podium!!!!

Good Luck ladies!!!!!
