Terry those are some great shots, they look like when the Anglers got off the water. So I assume you didn't make the weigh ins? Were these shots taken from one of those 3 Skeeters wrapped in the American Flags? Unfortunatly I was standing behind the yellow tape, while you got to fish......

Why does it matter if he fished during or after the Classic? Its a public waterway, and Terry has a right to fish it! He doesn't live there, and its an opportunity for him to fish a new place. I'm positive he choose to fish away from the Classic action, thats the kinda guy he is!

Nice pics Terry, it looks like ya had a great time!

Frankly no it doesn't, but How do ya really know if maybe one of those pro's may have wanted to fish that area? Out of respect for the sport, personally I wouldn't have during a Classic or any other National championship.

It happens all the time, at all levels but geeze just saying what if?

[RULE #6 VIOLATION]

i ASSUME THAT THESE PEOPLE FISHING IN THE CLASSIC ARE PROFESSIONALS AND SHOULD BE ABLE TO CATCH THEIR FISH REGARDLESS IF THERE ARE OTHER ANGLERS ON THE WATER.....

Ya so I guess y'all would have fished cool that's your opinion, I am Saying I wouldn't have that's my choice....Ya crack me up, I never said anything was wrong with it.

I said I would have not fished, thats all. No my ego is not that big, it is my choice. It is MY opinion that when there is that much money on the line I wouldn't have fished.

We all have choices, I stated what mine would have been.

Well Dan you say it was "your opinion" but you came cross as you were saying that Terry did something wrong for fishing on the same water that the classic was being held at.

Why would you ask "Please tell me you did your fishing after the tournament"? Obviously you felt that there was something wrong with Terry fishing the same waterway.

These professionals are fishing public waterways, dealing with weekend anglers or spectators is part of the environment that these professionals have to endure. If BASS didnt want people out fishing and spectating then they would have their events on private ponds, yeah that would some event to watch...

I think that a professional angler who complains about other anglers fishing "their" water is ridiculous, If they are really that great of a professional, then it shouldnt matter who is fishing where, if people who fish tournaments going to complain about other people fishing where they want to be, then maybe they shouldnt be fishing in competitions...part of fishing is ADAPT AND OVERCOME., but who am I to say anything, Im not a big time bass pro that feels that I own the whole damn lake when im fishing a tournament....

Really ? If you took the vacation and time off of work to go there ....,bought the tickets and flew some 2000 miles+, then rented and drove a car to where you paid to stay for 5 days of living space with meals, refreshments, other expences and more ... To "have the Opportunity and Fish where you have NEVER fished before". While actually ON the same water as the "Big Dogs" were passing through town themselves at a chance of fishing and winning $500k ...... and you Would Not Fish That Lake ??

You need to take a good look at dropping fishing all togther then ...and take up being a fan of NASCAR to go see a DAYTONA or TALLEDEGA as a lookie-loo groupie..... As that is the most backwards arse statement I have ever seen on here. Image

Other than some of Hollywoods and Joe W's post along with my own.

Love you like Pepper Jigs and AC Plugs Bro.... with some Purple Haze even added on!!

Cheers Bro, Image

You guys crack me up    I fished all over Aron Martins waters so he would take second again so I could hear him cry on stage  :wink:Dan I did fish during the tourny. We had 1 pro that was near us and we asked him what areas he did not want us to touch and we were ALL GOOD. Infact that pro made it to Sunday so I would have to say we didn't mess up his water at all and I had fish ALL OVER that Black and Blue Wadda and Wadda Bomb!!!!! They would just HAMMER THAT JIG!!!!!!!

LOL...Are you really complaining about someone fishing on a public waterway during a tournament? As long as they didn't fish on top of any pros, I don't think there is anything wrong with fishing during the classic. The problem with a few of the pros (and some guides apparently) is they think they own the water. I've had pros on Clear Lake pull up to a community rock pile and tell me I needed to leave because they were fishing a tournament and I was sitting on top of their water. Needless to say I didn't leave...Had they of handled the situation differently, I probably would have given them the spot.

The Elite guys have been around long enough know that there are going to be people fishing on "their" water. If they can't adjust to pressure, then they are in the wrong sport.
