The "1/4lbs Big Burger" is a good little spot, they are open 24/7 and serve breakfast all day so it can be a good spot to go to in the morning before ya launch in the morning. There's also a decent taco stand over by the hook line and sinker.

Pee Wee Muldoon's on Hwy 4 just East of Balfour Rd. Lots of good stuff on their menu and you can also order sushie (bait) from the place next door.

El Camino - Mexican food that has been around for ever in Brentwood. It is on Hwy 4 between Brentwood and Oakley. Good authentic Mexican food.

Orwood Resort - After pulling out the boat at the Ramp they are a great place to eat. Oakie Tacos and great burgers.

There are also a lot of new bigger chain restraunts on Lone Tree Way.

Brentwood Cafe makes a decent breakfast.
The carnitas burritos at Jalisco are so good they'll make ya cry.
The cheesesteak at the new place near Balfour and Brentwood are pretty good after a long day on the water.

Try Fagans in Oakley. You get twice as much for your money and the food is great. If you like ham for breakfast this is the place for you.

There's the Hickery Pit right next to the Dodge dealer on Hwy4 in Brentwood. Their ribs are good (the red BBQ sauce is even better), but their ribeye is excellent!!

The Brentwood Cafe has some GREAT fried chicken also.

Caps' Oak Street Bar and Grill is IMHO the best by far in town...period. Not a Breakfast place - just lunch and dinner, but the food and service is as close your going to get to a high end Walnut Creek type place. You can be as casual as you like and the food is as good as it gets in Brentwood. The Cowboy steak and the Halibut are a few favorites. The Black Bass is also very good....lol..... JUST KIDDING!!!

Have a great time in Brentwood!

Definitely Brentwood Cafe for breakfast. They open at o'dark thirty. Also a Starbuck's or Jamba juice on the corner of Walnut & Balfour.

For dinner,

Pasta or Steaks - Cap's and Grazie's are awesome. Both downtown Brentwood. Love the bacon wrapped filet at Grazie's, prime rib at Cap's. Also, nice and relaxing to sit outside on the back patio at Cap's in the evening.

Pee-wee Muldoon's is a nice laid back hangout too. The country fried chicken is my fav & inexpensive. Fajita's are good too. Also have a patio outside and great bar which is nice for catching a game with a nice environment (no "issues").

Mia's Mexican by McDonald's off Hwy 4 is also good authentic mexican. Have a back patio area great for cocktails & socializing.

These are our most visited with exception to Mimi's or Chili's next to empire & lone tree when we're in the area. (Gas for the boat is cheapest at the Arco across the street, also a high volume station)

There's also a new Tan sin Jin (sp?) chinese place in Brentwood now, don't know where it's at exactly but wife brought home take out last weekend. Great chinese food.

And last but not least, Baskin Robin's in the safeway shopping center (next to safeway) corner of Hwy 4 and 2nd street. If ya gotta have ice cream...

Jeeze, and here I thought it was feeding gas to my 250XS that was making my wallet thinner :?

Enjoy

Joe
