Bad day to be a Pirate

Post by Rick G »

Looks like those dudes met their match in the Navy Seals. Got the Captain out alive and wacked the bad guys. Movie's are made from stuff like that. Need's to be some new Maritime Laws where those crew's can carry their own weapons and fight back. Radar has got to see those Pirates coming. They can pick on all those wimpy Euro's but not Uncle Sam. Good call Mr. Obama. Rick G.

Funny thing is I predicted the exact sequence to my wife yesterday. I predicted that all of the bad guys heads would explode at the exact same time, leaving the Captain with little more than a little bit of red mist staining on his glasses...
Seals rock.
If a dumba$$ like me can see that coming, how stupid are the "pirates" (I use that term loosly, real pirates would turn over in their graves at the way these clowns work.

I'm looking forward to some form of arming these boats, or at least putting some form of highly armed defense on board. Nothing like a little gattlin gun action on a small speed boat.

yeah baby

We have been escorting tankers and ships through the Straits of Hormuz for over 20 years. The Horn of Africa has been a sore spot forever also. They planned the USS Cole attack and launched small boats from a small beach off the horn. It's time we end all these acts they way this one ended....Hopefully this sends a message....

The one common factor that criminals world wide value is life, their own. Job well done to the US SEALS! Congratulations, you have restored honor.

Large shipping vessels don't usually carry arms so they can easily port in foriegn countries, alot of bs is avoided if you don't have weapons onboard. It is also very hard to detect small craft close in on radar. Good thing we have our finest backing us up out there.

My dad and I were discussing this yesterday, thinking the SEALS would come in and end it for the kook pirates- nice they did it. We were thinking an auger through the hull from underneath (old school, lol), wash out the rats and pick up the skip, but I guess that's why we're not running the show! Great result! So now the pirates are pissed off? Go figure- Seems like our guys made three head shots at once in heavy seas, those are some skills! :D hopefully a hungry mako or a few white tips were cruising to finish the scumbags off properly

A pinata party with the pirate left on the navy vessel would not be PC, but sure would be deserved

Yeah I was hoping that would happen when I saw that the ship had docked with out the skipper. Just thought in my mind it would be as easy as 1 shot one kill 4 at the same time. Aw shucks must have only had 3 sharp shooters. Wonder what will happen to the last dumbag. Hope he gets his longer than his buddies. Fed to the sharks sounds good. USA Rocks I say smoke them all when they try to come aboard better yet shoot them before they know they have even been seen

Belive it or not -- But according to the original demands, International Waters. and placement of the last time of action with prior negotions ... They were only looking at 2 years of prision time according to reports from the AP.

Now the AP is reporting that the lone remainig pirate will be serving a Life Term sentance ~ upon conviction in our Federal Court of Law. Then he will be fed 3 squares a day with more than all the comforts of home .... and never again have to do anything productive in his life ~ Other than to suck the nectar off of the fruit that the USA puts out via our taxes we pay daily as well.

"Welcome Home" ~ and give Thanks for that last "Untaken" Shot ... Or your cowardness You Lucky Bassturd !!

Hope you spill your guts durring waterboarding to give-up the full scope of everything in the Somalia Pirates Ops.

There HAS to be a solid reason why this one was able to live....

I think the ole U.S.A. wanted to be sure if these guys wanted to keep their heads.

I don't think the last one was on the lifeboat at the time of the shooting or his head would have been air conditioned as well. The report that I saw said he had already left the lifeboat because he had an injured hand and was trying to negotiate ransom money.

Yes when I went to bed and listened to the news, I found he surrendered earlier.

This is why I love being an American. While this is going on over seas. I was making jig casts at DVL. Shad bites full speed by the way Rick, you need to get out there. All of this going on daily that we don't even hear about to ensure our freedom. Great call in the green light Obama. A little pink mist can always wash off. 8)
