Be ready for a Quagga Mussel inspection Sunday morning before the tournament at Lake Hodges.
The Ranger will be looking for dry livewells and bilges. Also no water should pour out of the lower unit of the motor when in the down position. If you have fished no other lake than Hodges since last weekend just mention that to the Ranger.All sign ups for the tournament will be accepted in the parking lot just off to the right of the main gate as you enter the lake grounds.
Any last minute paperwork,entries,Etc... can be handled then. If you are fully signed-up proceed to the ABA motorhome for your boat number. ABA staff officials will let teams know your boat number inside the ABA motorhome.So pre signs, please stop in for your number.
A random Draw number will be pulled on the water. The Ranger along with the ABA Staff will inspect boats in the quagga line before the gates open. This will start at about 4:15am.
Right now looks like the gates will open around 4:45am. Your fishing permit fees will be prepaid, but members of the general public have to stop off at the "Iron Ranger" to buy their permits.
If you are behind one of these boats, you can go around that boat and proceed to the launch ramp. Please be courtreous when interacting with the general public at all times We are proud to announce the barbeque for Sunday's event will be sponsored by El Cajon Ford
Peregrine will also be bringing "goodies" to be included in the raffle. The raffle and awards will be held at the ABA mobile stage by the old ramp.

We will have drawings after the weigh in for some great product donated by our sponsors. After the tournament, any comments and suggestions would be greatly appreciated to help us make this a great region. Please call us if you have any questions. Get to the lake early. We hope to have you all long gone before sunrise.

*Out of town" traveling teams can sign up ahead of time.You can do so over the phone by calling Mona or Todd at (909)338-1714.

Teams can also sign up at Anglers Marine,Santee store,to be entered for a $500.00 shopping spree. Sunday morning at the lake (ABA motorhome will be located to the right of the gate as you enter the lake grounds for sign up. hey Art, We had a couple of good days @Mead w/out the wind, but mostly very windy afternoons, we caught a bunch of small fish with the exception of Therisa catching a huge female, I have never seen or thought there were fish that big in Mead, she was over 6 lbs. I need to talk to you about the bottom of our boat meeting up with a rock, we need some patching up.
