look a little deeper and you'll find that policy change took place under the previous administration, and it was reversed this year to address the impact on small businesses and individuals buyers of ammunition.

Typical republican responce. Your just passing on what was sent to you whether is true or not does not matter I guessRod Martin wrote:I working so much latley, I just read what is sent to me and let you guys sort it out. Can you link me to Bush doing that.

Just a "post"? Or should I read multiple posts?
Re: so is this the beginning?
You are half right when you said it took place during the last administration but would it not be more correct to say in the 111th Congress.Dan McKenzie wrote:look a little deeper and you'll find that policy change took place under the previous administration, and it was reversed this year to address the impact on small businesses and individuals buyers of ammunition.

Re: so is this the beginning?
This was the bright idea of our new congress and it already was thrown out. The democrats who support ammunition and gun control like Clinton, Feinstein and Schumer are a minority and they know it. The voters who favor gun control are falling fast and now are at a historical low in the 40% range. Americans like their guns and the 9th circuit court jesters just ruled this week that the second amendment applies to the individual so game over.

Re: so is this the beginning?
I don't believe Bush ever directed a halt to sales, rather a new set of directives/guidelines were implemented and the sale of used casings was part of it.
It's just funny how people jump on the wagon and point to Obama as being the culprit. On the other hand it was nice to see the 9th Circuit issue a reaffirmation of the 2nd Amendment Right, especially coming from this court, rather amazing.

I never claimed to be smart (even though I am
) but before I posted something "someone sent to me" I think I would make an attempt to verify what is said. With the excuse you used people could post all sorts of lies and then just shrug it off and say " well, someone sent it to me". Come to think of it, that is the republican way, post lies and hope no one notices. Good luck with that

Fish you're an A$$ and not as smart as you portray. Keep trying one day you will luck on something you really belive in. till then keep punching away.
Right, you got caught posting a lie and I am an a$$. Like I said before, I am not trying to portray anything, your stating your lies as usual, somebody bust you on it and I post that I wish you would not lie. Sounds like business as usual to me.

As usual you spout off but dont answer the questions asked of you
Should I say typital Liberal, No typital Fish.
Hate to break it to you but I don't even read your crap when it includes stupid made up stories. Post your own thoughts and I will read them.
I will play along with your lies though.
You asked where you lied?
The answer is when you posted this topic "DOD Ends Sale of Expended Military Brass to Remanufacturers " and then you said this "AND SO IT BEGINS...
We all wondered when it was going to start--when the new administration would make their move against us as gun owners. "
Dan posted this "look a little deeper and you'll find that policy change took place under the previous administration, and it was reversed this year to address the impact on small businesses and individuals buyers of ammunition."
you replied this "I just read what is sent to me and let you guys sort it out."
Marty replied this "You are half right when you said it took place during the last administration but would it not be more correct to say in the 111th Congress."
So, Marty is agreeing with Dan that this regulation has nothing to do with Obama and you said it did. So, you lied or Marty lied, which one is it?

Re: so is this the beginning?
I get those emails all the time. They contain "shocking" information about something very important... and its important that I send it to everyone I know so that it can be stopped. There may be some truth to some of them, and some of them are complete garbage. I just dont have the time to research all of them so I disregard them.
My Question then is... whats wrong with posting them on this board to promote some discussion and find out whats what? Rod posted this and Dan was quick to point out that its just another one of those bogus emails, Marty weighed in and correctly pointed out that it happened under the 111th congress... thats all good stuff and helpful to those of us that really dont have time to look into it.
So what the hell is Fish doing talking about "stupid made up stories" and accusing people of lying. Fish, you chinless weasel, you say some of the stupidest things I have ever heard and you take all of the fun out of this forum. If you ever actually left your moms basement you would probably get your a$$ kicked by the first person you spouted off to.
What do you say to that Fish?
(BTW I just quit chewing Copenhagen and am a little on edge)

Well Getalife if you want to post one of those idiotic emails that the right wing has to send to each other to justify there existence then that is fine but if you do state " I don't know if this is true or not but I just rec'd this email and thought I would share it with you" it would be alright. This way you cover your a$$ in case your posting something that is not true, which in the right wing email chain is most likely all emails.
As far as the stupid made up stories goes, this statement "Dear Valued Customer" sounds like the begining of one of those stupid made up stories the right wing loves to post like the one where the waitress is not getting a tip and the one about empolyees at a business are not getting raises.
As far as chinless goes I actually have 2 going on 3 chins but that does not stop me from stating my opinion and I have yet to get my a$$ kicked by anyone but I am still waiting. Trust me on this, if I do get my a$$ kicked I will still be stating my opinion to the guy who just kicked it as he crawls away calling for his momma.
I'm sorry I am taking away all your fun, I'm sure you right wingers get a lot of laughs out of making up lies and posting them like they are truth. Remember if is not true then it is a lie.
Either post the truth or start your post stating this is your opinion and we will be all good.

Rod Martin wrote:Maybe you should look a little harder. I started my post[so is this the beginning?] as in a question, then started the post which was a story in the shootist[ i belive] Dan replied, marty replied, you spouted off. Dan infered it had started earlier, Marty seemed to think it started with congress instead of a Pres., I asked both to expand on who did it. You jumped in with no help just venom, reason I think you're an a$$. I did not lie , Marty did not lie, the story may be wrong, Marty might be wrong, Dan may be wrong or everyone may be right on one part or another. That does not make me think they lied. I asked them to show poor dumb me the truth twice. I still do not have the whole story on the story, maybe someday I will.
But I know you added nothing to the post. just hate.
If a man does not question things he reads or sees[ as in post it for scrunity by all ] Then should he accept it as truth without confrimation? If I only wanted agreement I would go to a right wing site and post there. I value disagreement but not hate as I feel I get from you and Bass Attack.
As the famous Gomer Pyle would say. Shame! Shame! Shame!
That is too funny. A right winger talking to me about hate. Have you listened to your leader of your party preaching hate on his radio show and what about Ann Coulter and Hannity and ..........well I don't have time to list them all but there are many.
Oh yea, why don't you go to your right winger website and post your lies so you guys can all have a big circle J#$%, you can be with your homies and feel all warm and snuggly.

No, not all republicans are dumb just the right wingers, and I am not even sure dumb is the word I would use to describe them. Weak minded, narrow minded, intolerant, hypocritical, easily influenced, follower, scared, pack mentality..............did I mention hypocritical?Rod Martin wrote:And the good part, You really think I and all the other R,s are dumb, when people like you and Bass Attack , show how mean and hatefilled, and yes sometimes just downright stupid some in the Dem Party are.

Re: so is this the beginning?
Rod, from what I found in a quick google search. The information you posted was partially true. But at this time the DOD has reversed its original directive to stop the sale due to "loss of revenue" and "the military brass was inadvertently added to a larger review of government surplus sale items"(quoted from an article on Fox News, first site I saw that would be somewhat trust worthy. No articles from any other news source or I would have used those. There was also a link to the same Fox article on Senator Jon Testors senate web site.)
