Last dollar

Post by jwilson »

California has offically received my last dollar. I went down for Easter to visit family and do a one day trip on Lake perris. Here is the part where, if you guys do not wake up every boat dealer will be selling float tubes and not bass boats: We waited to get inspected by the state ranger for mussels????? The whole time she is telling my buddy how the whole Colorado River system has them as well as Diamond Valley and Lake Skinner, so on and so on. But some how they are not in Silverwood or Perris???? I guess they must have gotten out of the water and hiked around those lakes??? She found a teaspoon of water in a front compartment in my buddy's boat and did not let us on. It gets better, so hold on all you clean and dry freaks.....It gets really good after I asked her "if all those lakes have them, how do you not have them in this lake???" I ask "can they get out and walk around and just skip lakes down stream from ones that have it????" "I do not know" she says, "I will have to ask in our meeting tommorrow?" This is the good part... she says "you can just dry it out and go to any other lake but this one for the next seven days." Now you tell me how that response makes any sense? You can fish on this boat anywhere but here so how does that stop the spread...... :?:

Because it is not her money that she is turning away. She will continue to get her cushy government paycheck whether she lets you in or not. The taxpayers will pay the costs of running the facility with two boats or two hundred boats. What incentive is there for her to let anybody in? I am sure somebody will come on here and tell me how overworked and underpaid these workers are. Good luck. My boat has spent TWO of over 100 fishing days in the past year on a Southern California water.
